Finding a competitive list

I'm getting back into Dark Eldar (3rd times the charm XD) and I've got a few builds written up. I'm kinda leaning towards the gun boat list. I'll be playing in local tournaments, the local meta is a lot of high toughness models, (dreadknights, Yvaras (t7 13Wound Tau suits, maulerfiends and zerker swarms). You guys wanna help me break my local meta?

What style of build would be best for my local meta? Should I try something totally different?

If you want to cheese it and go for broke, then run a Vanguard detachment. 6x true born with 4 blasters. Slap two of each in a Raider.

That is 1104 pts. Fill out the rest of the list as you desire. I like a cheap hammey with hex rifle to be our HQ tax

I've been looking for a good HQ choice, hadn't thought of using a hexrifle haemmy yet. Why Raiders and not Venoms? Venoms seem a little better, especially with the -1 to hit them.

5wracks with agoniser (fit the 59 points I had left)

6x blasterborn

7 Venoms

I like raiders for a few reasons. One, we can fit both truborn squads in one. Means we have less deployment, better chance if going first

Also, dark lances are extremely powerful. Finally, in my one game, both of my raiders lasted to the very end of the game

Oh, and 3 raiders are cheaper than 6 venoms

I just worry about the anti infantry power of the list

How about this one then

2 dissie ravagers

I think that could be very, very powerful. That gives you 6 units to deploy, meaning you will almost always go first. Dissies give some pretty good infantry power, and split fire let's you do some damage too!

I am guessing you are aiming for 1500 pts? Remember that of that was your old norm, everything is more expensive now. So 1500 is really more like 2k.

Edit: just ran the points. Keeping the ravages as dl and throwing a shock prow on the three raiders hits 1500 exaxtly

If I change them though I'm still a little worried about the anti Infantry side of things

This gives you 7 units to deploy. 10 DL. 16 Blasters. 2 Splinter Cannons, and two Missiles (which do amazing btw).
