| I have been out of 40k for the last year and off this forum for even longer. I am hoping to make a return to both! This is what I have for a 2k list I am hoping to bring to some tournaments in the near future.
Black Heart Airwing
Razorwing, x2 Dessies- 135 Razorwing, x2 Dessies- 135 Voidraven, Scythes, Missiles- 165
Cursed Blade Battalion
Succubus, Blast Pistol, Glaive- 60 Succubus, Blast Pistol, Glaive- 60
x19 Wyches, Power Sword, PGL, x2 Shardnets- 169 x19 Wyches, Power Sword, PGL, x2 Shardnets- 169 x5 Wyches- 40
Prophets of Flesh Battallion
Urien- 90 Haemonculus, Whip, Vexator mask- 76
x5 Wracks- 45 x5 Wracks- 45 x5 Wracks- 45
x7 Grotesques- 245
x3 Talos, Haywire, Flails/Scalpel- 294
Venom w/ x2 Cannon- 75 Venom w/ x2 Cannon- 75 Venom w/ x2 Cannon- 75
TOTAL: 1998pts
I have used the big Wych squads in the recent past to great success. I used to run 3x20 but terrain and deployments sometimes become an issue. I like that I can choose where to put Urien, either with the Grots or Talos depending on the match up.
Let me know what you guys think.

| Looking at your list I think a bit more info is needed. How do you intend to deliver the two wych bombs? Who's riding in the venoms? If the Wyches are running they will die quickly and easily, even with morale immunity from Cursed Blade. A 6+, 6+ won't keep frail T3 bodies alive for very long at all. Webway Portal would be your answer, but it's a risky strategy with a 50/50 chance of failing the charge out of deepstrike. The wracks are tougher, and much less likely to draw fire as they don't represent the same "glass cannon" threat the Wyches do. But I assume the wracks are going into the venoms? If I were to make changes, I'd consider experimenting with two 10 man wych squads in raiders over the 20 mans - it's just about the same points. You could also drop the venoms and let the wracks walk. That should free up enough points for 2 more Talos. I'm not sure 3 produce quite the same scary effect as 5 would - although I haven't actually run Talos myself so thats very much theory and not playtesting. If you felt you were light on shooting, you could also consider switching the airwing out for a Writ of the Living Muse triple ravager detachment.
Edit// The suggestions are very much that, and I'm not saying they are objectively better than what you have. It's things you could switch in and out to experiment with and see what works for you.

| The wyches will be running to get to where they need to go. They work well for board control and if I can only get some of them in, they will do work just fine. Yes they die with almost no saves, but people do have to focus fire them otherwise they will overrun there units. The str. 4 with so many attacks makes them a very viable threat. Plus if they spend the time shooting and killing the wyches, the real payload, Talos and Grots will make it there and really be something that cannot be removed. Wracks will go in the Venoms. I want the mobile shooting platform and a way to get them across the table because they are only 5 man strong. | |

| Just keep in mind that killing 10 of your wyches is enough to have the remaining 9 running away (or force you to spend 2CPs). Killing 10 wyches is something that a unit of marines (not the most competitive army) can do in a turn with the usual re-roll ones, so no need to focus fire really.
If you absolutely want to run them through the board, I would suggest red grief, so that they will be quicker and a charge on turn two will be almost guaranteed.
