Megaforce set available for holidays

Found this posted by Worglock on Dakka, and a later post by borath101 confirms it with a pic from this year's holiday guide that he picked up at his local GW store (he also includes pics of the other megaforce sets). Looking at the poster pic, there's 20 Wyches, not 25, but the rest is accurate (unless one of the Raiders is actually a Ravager):

Unles this is a big enough savings that those Reavers are more than free, I'll likely pass, The scourges are iffy, I just need Troops, Elites, and HS, thankyewverymuch. If It's more than, say, 225-250, Not a chance.

Not only are you not saving on the 2 , you are paying $15 to get privilege of having a Venom and Scourge in this combo.

That was also if the Megaforce cost 275 and we don't know how much it will be yet.

The price on all separate on Au GW site is 528au, 474au with battle force. 354au separate without reavers, so cheaper even if not using reavers. Same on U.S. site is 208usd, so a little over 200usd? Very good deal in that case, if only I didn't have 5000+ points already, needing paint, I would get it.

On side note, no wonder people in Australia where buying online before ban, It would almost be cheaper to fly over and pickup army in u.k. then pay that kind of markup. Forgeworld reaper is about the cost of raider in Austraila.

If this has 10 more warriors and a few less reavers I'd probably get it.
Why 9 reavers! that's more than most armies have even at 2000, is it not?

does the left hand side raider not look like a ravager?

And for those who like to buy their models using ye olde English currency of pound sterling:

Dark Eldar Battleforce (contents: 10 Warriors, 10 Wyches, 3 Reavers and a Raider) = £60
10 Wyches = £18
6 Reavers = £43
Ravager = £31
Venom = £18.50
Scourges = £15.50

Total Value = £186

With the Megaforce at £130, that's £56 cheaper than GW and an estimated £20 cheaper than buying from an independent retailer. Really great value for money.

Does anyone know if the indies will be stocking these or are they a GW only thing? I'm really tempted by, if only to stick it in a cupboard and break stuff out when required.

I'd really love to see the return of exclusive miniatures in these boxes, I know that Dark Eldar fanatics like me and many others on this forum would buy the box just for that.

Exclusives would be great, the scourges and reavers are rather useless to me though so I'm not sure I would buy it…

If this comes out at about 200 US dollars then what you get over two battleforces is:

3 Reaver Jetfikes
5 Scourges
1 Venom

and you lose 10 Warriors

I think that is a fair trade.

but you get one raider and one ravager.

I think I probably am going to get it though, and sell/swap the scourges and jetbikes for 10 warriors and a venom.

I only see two raiders and no ravager.

it's definitely one of each.

Wouldn't the better comparison be the normal battlebox to the megaforce? Seems the megaforce has a decent amount of dead weight (conversions, hoooooo!)

do you mean battleforce? which is 10 warriors, 10 wyches, 3 reavers and a raider. which is what people have been comparing it to.

Rather than start a new thread I'd like to point out that the Harlequin Troupe set is now being rereleased as Finecast, for those that missed that.
