| Hello.
I've been going over leaked SM codex and I'm impressed with the Stratagems and Relics they have access to. Especially how fluffy the stratagems are (I didn't expect to see crimson fists in there). Now all this is making me equality excited and worried, GW are notorious for gimping non space Marines /tau /craft world eldar army's from about 4th ed onwards (I've been playing 40K from 2ed) With GW's recent activity I'll remain positive.
Now with that out of the way I want to see what Ideas/predictions the forum have for stratagems in hte next Codex
I'm guessing where get a webway stratagem like the raven guard and I want a stratagem for advancing the Power from Pain by a Turn.

| See, I thought the PfP advancing would be a good one too!
I also like the idea of making splinter rifles Rapid Fire 2 instead of Rapid Fire 1 for a single unit for a turn, just like the Guard have. Or maybe one that increases the effect of a unit's combat drugs for a turn, then deals mortal wounds to the unit.

I think changing the combat drugs or adding a new one for that combat at the chance of suffering mortal wound would be awesome.

| I would suggest a stratagem that allows us to advance then shoot non-heavy weapons without penalty. Yes the Craftworld Hippies get that standard, but it would not hurt for the speed focused army to be... you know, fast? | |

| I think Webway Portals are an obvious one. Spend maybe 1cp or 2cp at the start of a game to put any unit in Tactical Reserves for a Deep Strike mechanic.
Past that, I can speculate: * Treat unit as being one step further on the PfP table for one turn. * Allow a unit to Advance and Charge. * Allow a roll to ignore a Mortal Wound.
Those strike me as basic level good choices. I'll throw in a couple of wide field options that are unlikely though: * Some kind of psychic protection roll similar to Black Templars. * Recharge a single use piece of Wargear.

| My 2 cents would be a 2 CP stratagem to inflict to the enemy a malus similar to nightfighting for the first round. | |

| You have to understand that muhreen players are spoilt children that GW indulges at every turn but are never satisfied. We DE players are really lucky that we have a PFP table that includes many of the chapter tactics of the muhreens. Note: expect the PfP table to be nerfed all to hell as soon as the imbeciles at GW "playtesting" realise this. Don't ask or expect anything that could rival the power armoured nancy boys and you will not be disappointed. | |

Hopefully Primus (bigger muhreens) will stem the tide for awhile. - Painjunky wrote:

I personally don't think this will happen. PFP force multipliers aren't that crazy at T3 with a 5+ save (mostly)
