But indeed, if you local meta doesn't field a lot of tanks, there is no need to spam the hell out of DL, and blasters are a good choice. I'm also starting to understand why you want to spam Venoms so much

In my meta, my SM buddy fields Land Raiders. My IG buddy spams Leman Russes and Baneblades. My T'au friends spams Hammerheads. The others are less Mecanized.

I have 11 Fusion Guns in my list..... Fusion guns are not dedicated AT they are back up to help with other units like MC's

I also Play Pure DE time to time, but i play with Tantalus and Reapers with Haemonculus and a Bomber, that list has 10 RW Flocks for bubble wrap.

I have. I dropped 12 into a game against Sisters of Battle/Black Templars. It went okay. The Fire Dragons actually did relatively little damage, but DID occupy a great deal of the enemy's time. I think they popped one tank and injured another.

The Incubi did pretty well, though.

Honestly, I've only had one game ever where Incubi failed me. (And one where they never got into combat, but that wasn't their fault--the gunboats and Ravagers just overperformed.)

Well I finally lost my first game with Drukhari but it turns out it was the infantry spam I didn't have an answer for. I had 21 lances in my 1250 list because most events I've gone to have been spamming vehicles or something similar like daemon princes. Went against a brimstone horror spam list with the changeling though and I just didn't have enough shots to get through them and they didn't care about the ap -4. Razorwing flocks would have been great for eating all the smites and dealing with horrors in combat but I cut them after the price increase.

No, they are not. They won me quite a few games. I rarely use a list with less than 20 of them in 8th.

People send wyches against elite infantry, and cry when they lose the combat.
If you send wyches against enemy light infantry, they murder them.
You can also use them to hold heavy infantry. But losing to Terminators does not make them bad. No 9pts model can defeat terminators.

In 7th I actually used them to murder Termies. :-D Now I use Dissies. :-D Wyches are there to stop hordes maneuvering and kill them in droves.

not sure who's crying when they send wyches after elites? it would seem some assumptions are being made. if i send my whyches after elites i would expect them to die, but they should tie them up for a while, that would be there job at that stage.
