Wraithguard Spam: How does it work?

Has anyone here actually run Adam Gati's BAO list or something similar? Is it completely reliant on synergy or would a modified version perform similarly?

Here's a modified version I'm thinking of running this week:

2000 points - Spearhead + Vanguard = 5 CP's
Yvraine  - 132
Farseer - 113

5x Wraithguard w/ D-Scythes - 225
5x Wraithguard w/ D-Scythes - 225
Beast Master - 56

4x Razorwing Flock - 56
3x Razorwing Flock - 42
5x Scourges w/ 4 Blasters

Ravager w/ 2 DL, 1 Dissie - 165
Ravager w/ 2 DL, 1 Dissie - 165
Ravager w/ 2 DL, 1 Dissie - 165

Hemlock Wraithfighter - 221

Wave Spertent w/ Shuriken Cannon + Spirit Stones - 153
Wave Spertent w/ Shuriken Cannon + Spirit Stones - 153

I realize the Razorwing Flock aren't as good at 14pts each, but I never got to play them while they were busted and I just want to try them out. Plus, it wouldn't be the worst thing if the list was a little under powered so I'm not spiking league-mates off the table too hard.

Would love to hear your thoughts on this list or your experiences and tactics with Wraithguard Ynnari in 8th edition!
