Nope. Splinter Cannons are a bad way to get extra splinter shots, and splinter isn't particularly good this edition anyway. One Disintegrator > 2 Splinter Cannons.

You do get 4 more shots at 18" for 15pts which is not too shabby imo. But if you go for a Blaster Venom you want to shoot stuff with good saves, which Splinter fire doesn't excel in.
So yeah, there are better ways to invest the points for sure.
