Splinter cannon trueB in venoms

Wondering if anyone has run this combo of 2x Trueborn splinter cannons in dual splinter cannon venom? How effective/ineffective was it? Saw in earlier post about someone running blasterbornx3 and trueB splintercannon x 2 in venom which sounds similar, but whether they are well utilised, particularly the blasters. I can inmagine them being good late game or as back line defence.

Man back in 5th I loved this unit - Double Splinter cannon 3 man Trueborn unit in a double splinter cannon Venom.

Since the nerfs to Splinter Cannons now being Salvo, and Trueborn min squad of 5 it has become not so efficient to field them this way.

Definitely. Salvo Splinter Cannons in Venoms just doesn't work out so hot. The key advantage to the DE vehicles is mobility, which runs counter to heavy weapons on your infantry.

i guess splinter cannons on venoms would be good against guardsmen or demons.
