How do you loadout your kabalites?

I model my sybarites with agonizers and blast pistols/splinter rifles, mainly to distinguish them from the rest of the squad until I have modified my 10 man squads with the extra special weapons, i will run them as 5 man squads with blasters.

5 man (in Venom) sybarite with splinter rifle, phantasm grenade launcher & agoniser, 1x blaster. 3x splinter rifle

10 man (in Raider) sybarite with phantasm grenade launcher, power sword & blast pistol, 2x blaster, 1x splinter cannon, 6x splinter rifle

10 man units with a single Splinter Cannon each. Sybarites have a splinter rifle held in one hand, a knife and PGLs.

5 man units with a Blaster and PGL for me.

Giving melee weapons to a Sybarite seems like a waste, given their poor damage output and how flimsy the units are once on foot. Maybe on a Trueborn Dracon.

The PGL is nice (especially if you aren't taking raiders) for the stratagem potential.

I keep going back and forth between splinter cannon and dark lance.

I tend to put the PGL's on my Archons. You'll only get to use the stratagem once per turn and the Archon has the best chance of scoring the hit you need.

Despite what I put on the previous page, I'm looking at 10 man squads in the future with Splinter Cannons and Shredders for a full infantry blender. I can't see the point in Dark Lances as you don't want to be standing still in cover like a space marine and hitting on 4's isn't particualrly attractive to me.

If you really need some anti tank in your infantry squads it's got to be the Blasters so they can make the most out of it.

I'm not set on a load out, but the one I do the most are 5 warriors with a blaster and am agoniser and PGL.

Sybarite ccws might not see much use, but they're asthetically pleasing, if they earn the 4pts back one day thats good enough for me.

Yeah, for 4pts it's nice to give the sergeants something.

It´s nice to mob up some marine tac squad leftovers.

On top of the builds people have talked about thus far, I also quite like 15 or 20 man blobs with Obsidian Rose, maxing out on either Blasters + Dark Lances or Shredders + Splinter Cannons. Very points efficient for that amount of firepower and able to make great use of the Obsidian Rose stratagem. Also, they make a great screen for your backfield Ravagers & buffing Archon.

i like to play double battalion, so i usually play 4 units of 5 man with blaster and 2 raiders to support the ravagers and catch objectives.
