By turn 4 I was in the top 3. After my loss, then win in turn 5 I got 6th place.

What did you lose to?

Lost to Ynnari, two 9 man units of shining spears, 3 wave serpents.

This is a all comers list

Round
1. Tyranids- My opponent made some bad target priorities, I would have won anyway but it helped me score well.
2. Death Guard- Mortarion list with pox walkers.
3. Imperial Guard- Forgeworld tanks + Knight-Acheron+3 Hellhounds and a few infantry(real nasty list I went first, rolled hot and killed knight first turn).  The tanks shot well almost hitting with everything and wounding with them as well.  Luckily my target priority was good.
4. Ynnari loss - After the tournament when I got home and read the Ynnari rules I realized an illegal move was made.  It was a big move but I dont want to say anything bad about my opponent so I will spare the details and its not a for sure would have won anyway.  I am only mentioning it to represent the strength of the list (it would have been close).
5. Chaos daemons- He went first and covered the entire board and the objectives we both needed.  Slow grind for my list but ultimately winning.

By round 4 my list was in the top 3.  Every game it would score over 30+ points.

Over all great experience and well run tournament.

I think I will change out the Ravager Dark lances for Disintegrators because the tournament meta is mostly infantry.  I do suspect that will change after reading the Imperial knights codex(Armigers) though.

Nightmare Doll

Warlord traits everygame:
Labyrinth Cunning
Diabolical Soothsayer

List strengths:
Durable
Scary
A good mix of melee and shooting
Good anti vehicle weaponry

Weakness:
Maybe too much melee (is there such a thing?)

I'm curious why you took 10 mandrakes instead of a third ravager.

For more single wound infantry, -1 to hit annoyance, and the deepstrike ability. Problem with them is most games they dont do enough especially when waiting for turn 2 deepstrikes while in other games they were amazing. Also I wanted some unique in my tournament list to compete in.

My new list has a third ravager with the mandrakes removed.
