So I finally got my new "counts as Succubus in friendly games" model put together. It's this one

http://shop.kingdomdeath.com/product/pinup-white-speaker

And the people at the GW I play at said they thought it would look good with wings on it. So my question to everyone is, do you think I should do bat wings or feathered wings? My Kabal/Corsair band is the insert choice of the clockwork angels. All of my scourges have the feathered wings. But Succubi in mythology typically have leathery wings. So opinions please?

Edit: Almost forgot, if anyone can suggest a good way to add on the wings as well that'd be great because I can't think of a good way to do it.

I finished modeling feathery wings onto my GW succubus last night.
I used feathery wings (I believe they would be the scourge squad leader ones due to the armor details) and I am quite happy with the result (can try to get a picture taken when I get home).

Attaching them was done by expanding the socket for the trophy rack using a modeling knife.
The wings also needed a bit of shaving to allow them to fit next to eachother. After gluing one wing on, I used greenstuff to fill the cavity to allow for a better fit for the second wing. After gluing the second wing in place, I used liquid gs to cover up any holes.

Mind to check the size of any weapons you might be adding to the model and fix their position beforehand so that they wont collide with the wings. The succubus' polearm had to point a bit so it wouldnt poke the wings too much.

Here is a pic of my so far unnamed winged Succubus (suggestions for name and general c&c always welcome).

I opted to swap her head as it was quite horribly disfigured from poor casting. (and my attempts to repair did not really help...)

Ok so I did a dry fit of both wing sets and took photos. They aren't the best, but they should help people see them and that way I can get more opinions.

Judging from the pictures, I'd personally go with bat wings myself. They just seem to work better with the model in question.

Feathered wings, probably due to my sweet spot for the Swooping Hawks.
Man I love those guys.

Feathered wings look angelic, leathery wings look EVIL! The bat wings' smooth texture works better with all of the bare skin.

In the posing you have, I have to agree that the bat wings seem to work better.

I'm gonna go with the feathered wings. Would it be possible for you to give us a scale shot? What does she look like next to a wych?

Due to the model's face, with the feathered wings she looks too serene, much more like a seraphim (burning angel singing God's glory) than a succubus (female demon tempting men through sex, but we all knew that). thus, i voted for the bat wings; although my archon/succubus/duke sliscus model has the same feathered wings...
