Nothing Drukhari/Aeldari related, of course. New primaris tank. New admech tank/transport.
However, it is interesting that the next codex is Codex: Chaos Knights, though they released them as an Index earlier. It could mean that Codex: Ynarri might actually become a thing within a year's time (hopefully, much better thought-out if it does).
Another interesting note is that, while the core rules for Apocalypse will have to be purchased, the individual army rules for Apocalypse will be free online downloads.

| I mean maybe there will be a Ynnari codex, but we can hardly use the chaos knight example as proof. WIth the index just out I wouldn't count on it anytime soon, plus I do think the ynnari index was actually fairly well thought out on GW's part for just a WD release.
I am looking forward to apoc, I will definetly be giving that a whirl with DE once it's out.
Biggest news though is the new contrast paints, it sounds like those will be a really handy tool, and from all the reviews I've been checking out it seems like the paints deliver on all the marketing GW has done on them.

| Was a shame to see there doesnt seem to be a "Black Heart" contrast paint or from what I can tell an "Deldar Flesh" type contrast. Maybe they'll be in wave 2. | |

Considering how well the assassins index was thought out, no, the Ynarri codex was certainly not. 2CP fire and fade is probably an outright mistake, that shouldn't have passed the editing phase. if it was purposeful, then it's nonsense. Then there are the huge number of the stratagems that are pretty much useless, but could have been made useful with just slight tweaks to the wording. Making Yvraine's sword a standard huskblade, despite the fact that it's supposed be something greater than that, showed a clear lack of imagination on the writer's part.

| I just don't think Ynnari were really written to be for a competitive environment. Perhaps that's an oversight, there's no reason why Ynnari shouldn't be competitive, but this version of the rules at least seems to be a little lighter.
I don't think fire&fade was a typo, but nor do I think it should be 2cp. Hope it's not a sign of changes to come.
