You are right. I should redo the calculation considering "heavy" vehicles as having a 5++. This will further decrease the value of dark lances for this category but otherwise leave the analysis unchanged as disintegrato cannons and pulse disintegrators are equally affected by a 5++

There might be a couple odd units here or there, but better just think there will be invuls unless you know the meta you are in for some reason doesn't have them. I'm actually kinda sad i sold off my 10k points of Nids, b.c with the new traits i would be so happy, but at the same time i dont have time to play all my armies.

He could before (rarely tho) but yeah +1 to hit and a 5++ is what i would do, insane on OOE!

| Hello,
i would like to argue somewhat against T7 Tanks: You state that a Dis.Cannon makes 3 shots *2/3 hitting *1/2 Wounding 3 dmg because it would gain DT, but that is only for Raiders. Imho i think u should compare a Tantalus to a Ravager, and against T7 1 Tantalus deals more DMG than 3 Ravager together which is incredibly strong i think.
That is because if one is honest, the first choice for Dis.Cannons are Ravagers and not Raiders. Though if one calculates the 1 reroll then its about equal, still than its not completely unworth regarding points value. So now with DT, Tantalus are actually pretty strong and with T8 they will live quite long. I just went and bought 3 for a spearhead lol.

Indeed, in terms of battlefield role, I should be comparing a Tantalus to a Ravager (and I will in my next analysis). This analysis, however, was only to compare the firepower of the weapons themselves and I could only compare Raiders as Ravagers cannot take advantage of Dark Technomancers. - Swordxart wrote:

Amazing! After building them that might not have been the best idea x) I also bought 3 wraithseers, for my new 2000P List, inlcuding these 6 models, Yvraine and the Yncarne. And a homuncolous ofc A rather fun combo haha!

A rather fun combo haha! My Tantalus was in terrible condition when i got, i emailed them a couple times and they literally told me "Because no pieces are actually broken or mission we can not help you, the partial damage pieces are always like that" It was completely warped (and broken but they said it was a normal type of break WTF does that mean?) the sail completely fell apart (My store owner saw it fall apart when i set it on the table), it needed hours sitting in hot water, lots of sanding, lots of green stuff, some pieces wasn't even the correct size. It took 10 hours to fix. Literally the worst model i have ever had, and for $150 i couldn't believe it, i took pictures, showed what i had fixed and Email FW, telling them for this i'll never buy anything from them again and only buy from China cast, they didn't care and told me they understood..... Look at the sails (you can see the greenstuff and glue if you zoom into the Sail where it meets the Poles), look at the mid section (you can see where the pieces are not even the right size, i had to cut down, sand, and greenstuff that is where the size was different, it was always heavily warped. The front Bridge if you also look is a different size too, when i got to that part i said F'it and just sand the inside of the front holes bigger and didn't mess with it, i was over the 10hr mark at this point and didn't care anymore.

Link to the army list? I thought so too! Im unsure as too how i am supposed to link it, i only use battlescribe? do u mean like just copy it in a spoiler or sth or is there an actual function x) @ amishprn86 im sorry to hear that, i got somewhat lucky, i didnt have broken pieces just strongly misshaped so i had to heat them to bend them.

| You could just type it out lol and then add a picture of the 3 tantalus. I never use BS for copy/paste way to much wasted text (I have a visual reading problem so its really hard for me to read BS posts). I always write it out like this: - Example:
Black Heart Spearhead Archon - Venom blade Ravager - x3 DC's Ravager - x3 DC's Ravager - x3 DC's
Custom Coven Battalion Haemonculus - Hexrifle, Elewhip Haemonculus - Hexrifle, Elewhip Wracks x5 Wracks x5 Wracks x5 Venom - x1 SC, x1 SR Venom - x1 SC, x1 SR Venom - x1 SC, x1 SR Venom - x1 SC, x1 SR Venom - x1 SC, x1 SR

| That's a fine way of presenting a list: Great overview in a concise package.
Sorry about your bad experience with that gorgeous model. Their customer service is unforgivable.
I won't be buying a Tantalus though: My heart is set on converting an Akhelian Leviadon: Even more so now that I'll play it Coven!
