| Hello! I have bad habit of making vehicles myself (started playing 40K long ago) So while I DO like Venom look... Top Right side Front Left side I need to hamma dat smooth So this is "master sculpt" which would be multiplied in resin. Need to sand it smooth (used Dremel to take thicker lumps of putty), then sculpt, sand, sculpt... fun. I certainly have experience with this pattern (mecha-gant/warrior on 25mm base for my Nid/Necron army)

| Pretty neat. Are you going to put wings on it?
Also, spikes. DE needs spikes.

Also, spikes. DE needs spikes. Wings? For 101% I plan to add TWO sets - one that also act like platform and one that act as wind/bullet shield for troops. I've forgot to add that in space behing cockpit would be seat with empty gunmount - for infantry inside. I don't know where add two Splinter Cannons - maybe under those front fions, maybe between them, maybe under (on turret?) or maybe ... well, there is lots of options.

| Wow, great! Have you made any other DE vehicles? The guns should go between the front spikes | |

| I'd probably put a pair of splinter cannons under the cockpit, between the forked front. I like the idea of that thing spitting poison from its "mouth".
I look forward to seeing the final model.

I have DE Raider (new one), but apart from beeing impressed by it's quality (f***ing awesome, AutoCAD + copper-electroded stainless steel molds FTW) I'm NOT impressed by design. It should NOT look like Von Blut's reminiscence (skip to 3:00) . Gods, this guy was such prick... I would do Bikers (despite fact I actually adore their models) and basic infantry too (basically I'll try to make resin "Venom Spam" list i've posted) + convert some old warriors into Scourges. Actually there are only few models that I would like to include - Reavers, Incubi, Kabalites (they look fine), Razorwing, Mandrakes and Warp Beasts. Sadly, most of those thing are helluva expensive/need in big noumbers (200+ bucks for few Khymeres and those funny birds on sticks? How about f*** You GW?) so I still would go with resin...

| Hello! While I'm still waiting for some tools to finish my Venom and... few very early WIPs, I've made Clawed Fiend armature (next to Warboss). Yes, they "suck" but I think I would include few. I'm kinda proud of this guy, he is in size of Warboss but IMHO looks... way stronger. Anyway, here goes. Now you may spot lack of feet... they woud be made later. Inpiration pictures: F.E.V. test subject from Fallout 3 Shambler, cute "bear" from Quake Troglodyte from Heroes 3 Yeah. No six-nippled monkey-chipmunk, but actual monster. I plan to make him some sort of leather harness with baldes and chains so he would look like combination of crazy berserk gorilla and blender . I actually don't know if I would not need to make him in two pieces, if so this give me ability to slice his waist with dremel, then cover it with "belt". I also wonder if locking him in handcuffs (exactly like ones on my avatar, maybe slightly more loose) is good/cool addition. Oh and I would make Khymeres and Razorwings as well (like models, hate price)

| Good sculpt.
If you can manage it, I'd suggest trying to do a flayed muscle texture on the Fiend. It'd really emphasize the good musculature work you've done so far.
If not, you could just paint it on.

| Flayed muscles? Absolutely! Well, at least on head.
I guess I'll make "skull monkey" to keep up with original Fiend/Shambler theme. I also would add him some serioud roid veins. Don't know how (I guess I'll glue wire on armature) but I'll try.
also, I think You thought about Khymera, not Fiend.
Funny thing - he kinda look like Rip

I hate when people wait for me Anyway my tools are still late, so I've made Bladewing (Venom) wings armature half complete Razorwing and Khymere armature (I'm slowly running out of plumber putty*) Here are Bladewing wings settings, I may pick one... or all since I plan to cast each blade as separate part. Also, Triforce. Because I can. Yay. I must fix links in previous posts so they would link directly to image, not hosting site. * I use Pattex Epoxy Repair (not Repair Epoxy, that's glue) because... it's better than Grey and Green Stuff while costing 1/20 of GS price.

| Please, please, please have your razorwings look more sinister than the GW ones. | |

| I'll try. For sure I would not make one same bird casted four times lol. Or at least I'll bend their wings and heads.
Anyway I wonder if I could not use Venom cockit, add "plate with turret" between spoiler and main hull, then combine whole thing with something that I plan to use as Raider Aethersails (similar to Bladewing's wings, only a lot bigger and with "cloth" between blades) and make Flyers too.
From other news I think that Clawed Fiend after minor converting (when it will be ready) could be nice Grotesque... just add those "medical things" instead of spikes, mask in Judge Death style and...
And I've relinked thumbnails so they connect you directly to pictures, not hoster browser (I hate Image Shack's one, probably gonna hate this one as well).

| Who knows... maybe I'll check it. I've made roid-veins to monkey. Basically glued copper wire on it's arms. and here is rough prototype of Aether Sail (it would be painted as metal ) and/or variable-sweep wing for fighters. And tools are late again, so no progress today and... till tuesday? Anyway I also made few buttons for school project (web page) and it would be test ground for blog or even shop. Purple overlay | gold + purple light | gold with white light | gold. I have few more but not gonna show... Anyway I plan to compose whole thing into one file, then use Hover Effect to make inactive/active buttons Who know, maybe I'll pimp my sig? [edit] Ha ha! Signature pimped. I also decided what would be my army colour scheme. I'm gonna make Kabal of the Rending Talon. Yes, the one ruled by chicks. So I pick... Purple and White with Black ines (kinda like this Vaygr fighter) And Red logo. And I totally realise it would look like Yogurth Avenger ride. | |

| Ok... I guess post office like to joke around since I'm still witing for package send from MY town (well, other end of city, where I could have trouble to get without car)... Well, I've made some "spiders" (ie. wire armatures). "Roid monkey" or Grotesque-wannabe and Sslyth. I have little progress on Khymera, but so small it's not worth taking picture... No progress no birds, since I need tools. and now crème fraiche of today update: 2 with Liquifier and Venom Blade [65x2] 2 with One-shot goodies (I guess cubical AoP and round CoM), Liquifier and Venom Blade [65x2 + 15 + 20] 2 with Webway Portal (one is "meh", three seems like overkill), Liquifier and Venom Blade [115x2] Green pipes would be flamer nozzles, blue blades would be Venom blades. I plan to make them look like mix between: Pady of Pain Cyborg Midwife and female Cenobites http://cenobite.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Cenobite Every one can give men brown pants single-handed, now mix them... Totally gonna explore female Kabal... Coven... army theme. However I'm not gonna do too much progress in this and maybe next week, I would have few exams + rewriting of programs (exactly 15, 3 days left ) for Algorithm subject... [edit] Added point values for Haemi models. Also noticed I've got most views in P&M - over 630. Thanks everybody! | |

| Just a "quicky". Made in Corel Draw 12 quick sketch of my Warcatamaran (War-something is Orky thing ) Red rectangles (and circles) measure 25mm - EXACTLY 5 so I can freely ride with 5 25mm base models OR 2 40mm ones on each side (I have magnet foil and lots of metal flashers, so for display/game it would be possible to "mount them"). Between both sides is 10mm gap. Whole thing probably would be helluva heavy, so I will use steel rod + magnets as mount. And since it basically double the hull in high it would be slightly higher mounted. Sail is just quick work, gonna use "bird wing". Also sail would be magnet-mounted, for obvious reason. Whole thing is narrower (slightly, by 5-10 mm) than Raider but more rectangular. Top view shows only "deck", not whole hull. | |

| Sweet! Is your Warcatamaran going to be based off the drawings? And more importantly, Ork, where are the updates on your razorwing flocks? | |

| Sadly, I'm still waiting for tools. That's why I'm working with wire "spiders". Need to restock on putty too, I have it to detail 1-2 Haemi only...
I've ordered kickass clay shapers last week + crackle paint to make back of spacemonkey. Still don't see them in my postbox tho...

| Ok, it's before midday and I still don't have my tools... maybe later today? Anyway I've made quick paper catamaran model and compare it to Raider [hosting on imageshack, since it's easy...] It's slightly bigger, bet my enemies would say "what WAAC di**head". I also plan to actually check how many I've payed for casting each models (not including "masters", with exception to sculpt-and-play models like Haemi), giving quite accurate weight in resin/roving (material cost), mold cost etc.

| In a tourney, I don't see the problem with WAAC. In a friendly game, I wouldn't mind so much. | |

| I also hope so. Especially IF models would have good quality.
Anyway I plan to mount DL between front "spikes", so it would actually be slightly *lower* than in original model. Little "shoot in the foot", that would ballance better assault capabilities. Also just one pilot.
