| Are you going to make it more curvy looking with those serrated edges? | |

| It just feel Dark Eldar. Note that while beeing curved I still plan to make it "sharp". Just like original kit. | |

| For Your planet, it was genocide on cataclysmic scale. But for me, it was lunch break.
Actually he would make great Archon. He is just so cool... http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ButForMeItWasTuesday

Basically snake body is oval shaped. Muscles are something like this: 8( )8 , then cover it with skin. - Xelkireth wrote:

Wrong topic But thanks. Oh, I happened to buy 0,5 kilograme of clay (You know, dirt). Good for prototypes. [edit] Holy f**** gods. Sculpting clay is just... wow. Wow. Never had chance to sculpt on large scale and never in so gentle material. GO MUD, GO! [edit2] SOMEONE apparently like me. Not only I've had good luck with school things (I've need to do only half of programs, rest was done by my friend, we just exchanged our halves then), but I also got my clay shapers package! In addition I've ordered crackle paint, maybe I would use it to create interesting, "dry skin" texture? Just need to get some putty (friday = shopping, that's today) and I'm ready to work with Monkey.

| Ohhhh.... Long time without updates. I love clay shapers, truly. While I still "suck" at sculpting it definetely go into right direction. Here is junk I've ordered. I also have other (metal) tools and one made from filed pencil rubber end (posted above). Now if You ask Yourself if those things are mandatory - no and yes. No because You can sculpt without them, Yes because they are really, really useful and precise. Anyway here is "sketch" of Sslyth made in classic clay (however I recycled it, so these are only pictues ) Here are WIPs: Fiend (I've riped off it's arms. Left side is without skin, right is) Haemonculus skirts, start of Portal (I hope You can see whirl pattern) and basic body anatomy And Webway Portal (I will upload tutorial when I paint it. I have three actually.) | |

| Ahhhh.... nearly week without updates. Anyway my cam is kinda not-working so no pictures but: - I've managed to paint Portals. One side is purple, one green-turquise, just for fun.
- Managed to made few Giygas-like pain tokens (without massive abortion theme tho).
- I've sculpted female "dollie". Yes, with "stuff", including nipples. Gonna cast in resin and use as base for conversions, like more "yes, I'm female actually, not skinny guy" wytches etc. She is in right, 28mm size (tho "truescale" instead of common wargaming "heroscale")
- I've also made big female torso and head (2 separate things, not proportional), just for reference purposes. From classic clay.
- I'm building game board, made from 2 60x90cm pieces (about 24"x36") and 8 30x60 cm pieces. I may build up to 48"x84" (4x7) board. One side would be in "Core Prime" (from Total Annihilation) theme, second would be in Viralglass/Obsidian theme. Some premade, bits like vents, wires, crystal "lakes" etc.
- I'm working over Catamaran-o-Doom. Also fixing Venom.
And best part: I'm making my own website as school project. It totally would be DE themed, I plan to name it www .L.O.S.E.r. (acronym for Local Ork's Scratchbuild Extravaganza with random "r") or something similar.

| Ok. I've had some good times with dremel and partialy created base for "Raider", resin-PVC abomination. I still need to work on it tho because I could not file it (I need to make that outside because Resin dust is a)toxic b)hard to clean and today was raining) propertly and then start phase 2. Anyway here are comparision shots: And "design" shots. Note black marks, those are possible "designs" of cuts, so whole thing would not be (so much) bigger than Raider: I plan to make 1 "lower" hull (shown up, with possible attachments), 2 or 3 floors, 2-3 types of "balcons" and maybe sell them in "build Your Rider" style, kinda like Ramshackle Games. Later I would add turrets... When it would be done, I probably would paint light effect like on my favourite spaceship of all timesAnyway I also found WIP of dollie, just after dipping her in purple wash and sanding/filling my errors. It's not quite complete, I'vesculpted forearms and neck too. Unfourtunetely, she still sits in Sillicone since I gave too little ammount of hardener and it would dry for couple of days... IF it would dry . | |

| While I was coding CSS for my site I got bored and made quickie of Razorwing-like flyer. Obviously I could go with GW stuff (duh, guess from where I've got "inspiration" for this "conversion"), but...Which is kinda hilarious, since I've actually painted my yoohoo prototype gold. and rough sketch. Feel free to copy it, it's MY work and unlike GW I would nor IP-raid your bottom parts if You would keep it "for personal use". I plan to make some attachments (green) that would turn it into Voidraven: Now if someone would say: boy, that looks like good space elves. That's the plan actually. Also, I would have nice Aethersail (yep, I don't like "rag on sticks" and prefere metal wings). Oh, and while I did not worked on Rai... khem, Warbarque I will do so during weekend. | |

| That actually reminds me of one of those green Star Trek ships. Romulans? Klingons? Something. | |

| Yeah, I think it's a Warbird or Bird of Prey, depending on the race. Anyway, it's a cool design. | |

| I was about to cut out my scratchbuild Raider body when I've realised "sad" thing. It's too big! After cutting it would look just plain ugly. So what does this mean?
Absolutely nothing. I'm just gonna make new smaller Raider body and use bigger as Ravager.
I also bought 1000x500x2 mm piece of plexiglass (IMHO superior to plasticard) so when I will find rotor blade and dremel...

| Ok, semi-worth posting update. I've decided how I'm gonna paint helmets of my Kabalites. Gonna use best helmet GW ever made in DE line. Or, since "scratchbuild" still apply I would use something similar. You need to wait for full Kabalite concept tho... few hours if I will be lucky. | |

| I'd be quite impressed if you could paint that much detail on that small a surface. I have that very helmet for my Achon (and, some of my bikers have that very color scheme and stripe, quite good looking if i do say so myself) | |

| No, not at all, that's the idea of "public" tutorials.
I may try that myself today actually lol. Just to see if/how that can be achieved. I'm 100% positive for that.
[edit] Oh, and I think that forehead + nose could be done *just* with brush, without masking tape + aero.

| Hello! I've managed to paint "head" (actually, ASG ball) in "face" pattern tho I will not upload pictures (crappy cam+crappy light+small object = crappy picture). I've prepared some fun for You tho . Please take a guess what it can be part of: and few clues: - There is more than one right answer.
- Whole thing is bigger than infantry model.
- Tongue probably would be removable (underneath would be "grid")... and there probably would be more of them.
- I will make some more, in different sizes (probably one bigger and few smaller)
I consider it as sculpting warmup (it's ~10-20x normal infantry head) but why not use it when it's done* and fit theme? *it's not but "summer adventures await" and I may not be able to post pictures. You have about... 3 weeks for posting wildest ideas. GO!

| I'm not gonna say this is good or wrong answer. I'm just gonna say I count this as 1 since even GW engines models are similar.
