| Ok, why no PGL on the Archon, it's a mistake we see time and time again on Archon/Incubi lists. If you use this combo you need a PGL on the Archon. There is probably no need for ghost plate armour as you must use your best save at all times, so you'll be using the shadowfield until it and your archon pop. I'm a bit meh on the combat drugs for the Archon as well, it's nice but I think you have better uses for those 10 points.
I'm going to assume you want full squads of warriors instead of the 5 man warrior/blaster unit, so on that basis. I'd prefer to see a blaster in your warrior squads, there is little point in building a squad of 10 and not taking advantage of being able to take 2 specials with them. It might be worth dropping a couple of wyches here and there to get these items. Squads of 8 wyches will do just fine.

| i personally would drop incubi, add 1 ravager, remove 1 wych and insert archon-in archons wych squad i would get 1 shardnet, you will have to remove one hydra from that squad aswell due to rules. other wych squad i would change hydra for razerflails i believe they are statistically better for offence, although not quite as fun.
Other than that the only notable unit you are missing is blasterborn, and im not so sure i like the reavers. | |

| The PGL isn't there because most maps we play on don't have many instances of me charging through difficult terrain, I am sure once people start throwing down forests and fields of barbwire I will change my tune. I have heard this before, and I don't doubt you're right, there just isn't a need for the maps we've been using thus far.
The Ghostplate is there because most guns are ap5, and I don't imagine Shadowfield lasting for long fighting Guardsman and Nids.
Drop Incubi for a Ravager? I thought I had a good amount of AT, especially with the Reavers. But why don't you like the Reavers?

| 2 heat lances for 156 points or 3 dark lances for 115 points - thats sorta the main reason why they are worse in YOUR list, in general, its because they are weak and extremely short ranged, it would be slightly different if you could outflank them. There is the obvious fact that you clearly have a dissimilar meta game than probably most people. Your list should depend on the OVERALL composition of your enemies, as you said in YOUR games you have almost no terrain, in 90% of the worlds games we have 25% of the table as terrain as a general rule, perhaps you should bring that up at your next game. to help you and your friends balance the game to how its meant to be played. Fish tank items make great terrain, hell me and my friends use rocks and coke cans from time to time, my last game i had a castor, a coke can, and my container for my dice as war walkers so im sure you can use your imagination when it comes to terrain. | |
