| Thanks I tried to make him as much like the codex as I could. Here are a couple more shots    I am adding the colors to him over this next week I will upload more pics

| good lighting, grey background, zoom the camera in as far in as you can and then move the cam back until it focuses. Just a few basic tips.

| That is a good start - nice conversion, and a promising centerpiece for an army.
Just a few tips:
photo:
- place the mini in front of a uniform background (white piece of paper, pizza box, or whatever)
- get at least two light sources and place them on both sides between your camera and the mini (I don't know if I make it clear - it's like a diamond shape: top tip is the mini, bottom tip is the camera, side tips are light sources)
painting:
- use washes for shading (especially on metallic paints)
- try drybrush for the beginning as a highlight method for the edges
