Maybe you were going for this or not, but this model and the pose and everything you have done with this scream of the Green Goblin fro Spiderman. it has a certain menace to it.

Despite there being so many Baron entries its great to see that every bodies offers something different. I really like the look of this and I have to agree with GAR that it reminds me of the green goblin, its exactly how I see the Baron too and this conversion is excellent!

I think the baron was just meant to look like the green goblin... And well I just tried to make it look like the book!

So there you have it, glad you all think it came out well because there is not going back now!

Here are a few WIP photos... Cloak is almost done and the skyboard is just getting started.
Yes there are plenty of blemishes that will be cleaned up prior to being finished...
Would like to know what you all think of the cloak... This was my first attempt at blending. Generally speaking I am a hardcore drybrusher as you can see on the board.
All feedback and criticism is welcome!

looks like GW machrite red -> GW badab black -> GW mechrite red -> GW baal red -> GC bloody red -> 2:1 GC bloody red/some sort of white

First of all thank you all for the great compliments!
As how I got the cloak... well a bit of trial and error and pure luck lol!

As I said this was honestly my first try and blending on this level.
But yes using citadel paints:
Base Coat: Mechrite Red
Wash: Baal Red
Wash again in the recesses: Ogryn Flesh (My favorite wash color)
Clean up: Scab Red
Wash: Baal Red
Layer up from Scab Red up to Blood Red.
Edge highlight: Blazing Orange

Thanks again! Just finished up the skyboard more or less and finishing up the barons skin. Should be done later today or early tomorrow.

I have a 1500pt tourny tomorrow so hope to finish today so that the baron can distract everyone with his new paint job

i was close, and yes that is an amazing high lighting job

Well finished model has been posted just in time...

Was testing out some designs to add to the skyboard but could not perfect them to my liking in time for the challenge. Plan to add some on in red and will post upon completion.
