I am totally digging the base work. The dynamics it adds to the models as a whole is just great. While the contest is not about how well basing can be done, it certainly does add to the visual appeal of the models.

I really like the bases too. Maybe i'll be a bit more adventurous with my next squad of wyches. I like the Agonizer, and the hair!

Thanks for the kind comments so far. I'm quite happy with the results myself, of course some things would have been better and easier with an airbrush, but as I lack the money to buy one, I'm improving the conventional brushwork

If there really is request for an agoniser tutorial I can make step by step pictures on my second hekatrix and write a little guide for the forum. To make sure it doesn't get lost I should ask the mods to add it to the useful thread collection though. Otherwise there'd be much work for nothing.

I guess mods will agree that this Agoniser techinque is one the best seen so far.
Maybe add a bit of color difference in blending, but lighting is definately top notch for any Aggie and Power Weapon, which our army have in abundance.
