| It looks like a very light mix of Rotting Flesh and Skull White. Perhaps start with 2:1 mix and highlight up to 3:1. And don't forget to leave some deep black shadows along the edges like he did too. | |

| Was the shadows achieved by washing? | |

| I'm not sure, but I doubt it. Looks more like he either left a thin black line when painting, or painted it afterwards. | |

| Do you guys think this skin tone would look good with dark purples? Like shades similar to my avatar? | |

| It could work with colder purples. It's a direct contrast to that colour, so if you like a strong tonality like that it's a good choice. | |

| I'm thinking my purple is going to be close to 18 with blending to 17 and highlights in 16. I'm planning to do greens as accents and light to dark blues for hair. What do you think of that with the deathly pale skin tone? | |

| I think purple would work, since his skin have opposite (35-36) tone.
I don't like skin tho, it's kinda.... green, like zombie or something.

| Yeah. I'm gonna wash it out so its more blue. I think I'd do Ghost White from Reaper building up with Pure White. It's hard to see on the black background, but the white it tinged with a faint blue. | |

It's hard to see on the black background, but the white it tinged with a faint blue. That'll work quite well, but I wouldn't use Rotting Flesh with that to build the flesh tone. I'd use something more lively to build the colour (say Tallarn Flesh or Deneb Stone or something - just using GW names here as everyone knows those).

| Bah. Now I have to go and look up the Reaper equivalents on your GW nomenclature. | |

| To me, on my monitor it looks like Dheneb Stone as the base color, then shaded with codex grey. Bleached bone or white added to the base color for a highlight.
I suspect there is a touch of thraka green wash and some Asurmen blue wash as well, thinned down quite a bit so the color is more of a glaze and very selectively applied.
