| That's a wonderful looking Baron! I take it's the cape from the Dark Elf Shadowblade kit? Really gives him a sense of motion. His co-riders are also looking great. Good to see you back, Mortarion! | |

| Thank you! The cape is from the Chaos chariot kit, but has been slightly rebuilt, since a Chaos warrior is a bit broader over the shoulders then a dark eldar. | |

| Again, sorry to wake an old thread, but... The new codex was not quite what I had hoped for. With the less competative choises in my army going from bad to absolutely unplayable (wyches and hellions) and the army getting a lot fewer options I turned my attention to my other armies for a while. And then real life got in the way of my painting as I moved to another city. But now I will try to fix my army up to at least 1750 points playable with the new codex. The progress might not be speedy, but I hope I will get there eventually. So, to start off: A five man Kabalite unit in a Venom. The old classic still going strong! The unit with the transport. Kabalites. The model on the far right will get water effect on his base. Team leader (a regular warrior rules-wise) and a blaster girl. The venom. I´m pleased with the yellow pattern, but I am a bit afraid that it will make the rest of the army look darker. I might have to repeat it on future models. | |

| Slow progress, but still progress... Four scourges done! I really like the models, even though they are very unpractical. Unbalanced even with weights in the base and cannot be placed close to each other. But sooo cool! The painting is the same as the rest of the army. With the bat wings, I decided to paint the "arms" in skin colour, as I wanted to get a smoother transition to the rest of the body. The wings are not stapled on, ork-style, but rather grown. | |

| Fantastic work, my favorites are your menacing incubi. The color scheme is fitting and consistent throughout, count me a fan! | |

| Thank you! Hopefully I will be able to start painting four more scourges this weekend, but they may take some time to finish, since I have some real life stuff to attend to the coming weeks. | |

| As I suspected, the next batch of scourges took some time. First I had some real world stuff to attend to and then Witcher 3 was released. And that was not good for my painting. But now, finally, four more scourges are done! Group shot Normal scourges And a solarite. For some reason, she was really difficult to take good photos of. With the painting, I wanted her to stand out from the rest, so I gave her a white helmet (like my other champions) and painted the outer row of feathers on her wings green. I'm pretty happy with the results of that. She clearly stands out amongst the rest of the unit. EDIT: Sorry for the Swedish text. I posted this on a Swedish forum as well and forgot to remove that text when I posted it here. It's fixed now.

| Slooooow progress. Nothing painted, but at least I built some Trueborn. I wanted some different capes then the "standard" corsair ones. Even though the corsair capes look really good, I felt they had been done too much before. So my trueborn went hunting for something with fur rather then scales. | |

| Sorry for the late reply. I've been away for Christmas. The capes are from the White lions of Chrace for Warhammer Fantasy. | |

| The trueborn are done! The entire unit. I tried to make them more individual then most other units in the army. They are veterans after all. That also made them more colourful, but even dark goth elves can use some colour... Two blasters. A splinter rifle. Guess who's standing at the front of the unit? Another blaster. Note the Kabal symbol tattooed on one of his arms. And the final blaster. I really like how this model turned out. She looks like someone you do not want to mess with! | |

I read this several times before understanding it was use and not usa. I was quite confused

| Great conversion with WL capes instead of the regular DE corsair capes. Will you play on Gothcon, so its a chance to see them IRL?
Im a little curious about the piercing on the last TB, can you take a closer picture?

| Thanks! I tried taking closer pictures of the piercing, but unfortunately they did not turn out well. It's hard to get good pictures of it.
Hopefully I will be able to play them at GothCon, but it depends on me being able to paint enough new models.
