| HQ Baron Sathonyx (2)Haemonculi w/Hexrifles ELITE (4)Trueborne w/Blasters Venom w/2xSplinter Cannon (4)Trueborne w/Blasters Venom w/2xSplinter Cannon (4)Trueborne w/Blasters Venom w/2xSplinter Cannon TROOPS 19xHellion (3)Wracks Acothyst w/Hexrifle Raider w/Shock Prow, Torment Launcher (3)Wracks Acothyst w/Hexrifle Raider w/Shock Prow, Torment Launcher (5)Kabalite Warriors w/1xBlaster Venom w/2xSplinter Cannon (5)Kabalite Warriors w/1xBlaster Venom w/2xSplinter Cannon (5)Kabalite Warriors w/1xBlaster Venom w/2xSplinter Cannon HEAVY Ravager w/3xDark Lance Ravager w/3xDark Lance Ravager w/3xDark Lance -1998pts Start on board with 1xHaemonculus with the Hellions and Baron with a unit of Wracks. Turn one, Haemonculus with Hellions leaves, leaving behind his pain token. Baron leaves a unit of wracks taking theirs and joins the Hellions. Both Haemonculi join units of wracks consolidating the hexrifles into two units. Wracks are NOT embarked on transports. Raiders shoot forward to move-block/Tank Shock/suppress LD. This leaves Hellions/Baron with 2xPain and 1xpain on each Wrack unit babysitting the Haemonculi. Wracks do duty in the home deployment taking objectives and laying down sniper fire. (preferably at units suppressed by the raider torment launchers) Everything else is pretty self explanitory...lay down SAFH firepower. | |

| I really like this list, to the point where I might take it, tweak it and use it. LOL ;-)
What I would do though is to drop the hellions down to 14 then drop one of the warrior squads and replace them with the following....
8 wyches Haywire grenades Shardnet & impaler Hekatrix Agoniser Raider Flickerfields
The list should work out to be 1999pts if my math is correct.
I'm a little unsure if I like the idea of the hex rifle squads so may drop the hexrifles and the acothyst, bump the wracks to 5 and give them and the haemonculus a liquifier.
Please let me know how your list does.

| The core units look standard enough- 3 Blasterborn Squads, 3 Ravagers, Baron Blob, Minimized Troops choices. My two unambiguous critiques are that your Ravagers lack Flickerfields, and the Hellions lack their Helliarch with an Agonizer.
For more subjective thoughts, the Warriors probably want to be in Raiders for more Lance spam. I doubt that All-Mech lists are going away any time soon, and it's strength in numbers that gets results. As Warinthewebway suggested, Haywire Wyches would do you good, and work well against a metagame that has lots of vehicles, elite units, and minimized troops, with not many infantry blobs. Warinthewebway has posted the setup I would use, though it ideally have a Haemonculus.
Definitely add those Flickerfields and the Helliarch, cutting Hexrifles to make up points. After that, try swapping in the Wyches- they are a unit that shouldn't ever disappoint for their cost.

| Isn't it a bit risky to put Wyches in a Raider without Haemonculus? Each time I have tried it has been horrible, they hardly survive if the transport gets wrecked. However I wanted to try again like that, is there some tricks Im missing? Otherwise your list is very nice Deadshane, I would just drop the Hexrifles which aren't very reliable and put Flickerfields on the Ravagers at least. When you get to a certain amount of vehicles these stuffs are useful. | |

| Thinking about it I'd lose a blasterborn unit 2 and add the helliarch with agoniser and give my ravagers flickerfields and nightshields. | |

| This is how I'd role.......
Baron sathonyx
Haemonculus x3 Liquifier
4 trueborn x2 4 blasters Venom Splinter cannon
14 hellions Helliarch Agoniser
5 wracks x2 Liquifier Raider Shock prow Torment grenade launcher Flickerfields
5 warriors x2 Blaster Venom Splinter cannon
8 Wyches Haywire grenades Sharednet & impaler Hekatrix Agoniser Raider Flickerfields
Ravager x3 Flickerfields Nightshields
Totals- 1991pts.
Really like the look of this list and can't wait to buy it and play it.

| What's the Agoniser in the Hellions for, if they got 2 pain tokens from the start anyway? The Agoniser would only be effective vs t5 and higher. But fighting this isn't the job of a hellion blob, that's the job of Wyches. A power weapon is enough in warinthewebways list.
I like OP's use of Hexrifles however. They are by no means good in the 5th Edition, but I heard that there are rumors than you can choose which model you want to shot at in 6th, which would make them a good investment for the future.

| personally I think that your lack of a final troop choice is going to hurt you, but you will just have to see. Its not bad, my only change is to take the NS off the ravagers, they really dont need them as any long range will be able to hit them already. The only thing they will be protecting you from are some wolf scouts. GL to you, and I will probably see you down at NOVA as well | |

Ah, you're right about the Agonizer. If the list has 10 points to spare, I would advise to make the upgrade to cover the corner cases, but it is likely down to wounding on a 4+ and wounding on a 5+ one way or another. As for 6th Edition sniping and NOVA...it's still possible, at this point. Ditto @Shadows Revenge for maxing out Troops choices, and for seeing you at NOVA, as I signed up tonight!
