witch blades are as per the rule book, (so User S, 2+ wound, 2d6)
the problem is that as per the Eldar rulebook, singing spears are witch blades that when thrown, are S9 against vehicles. So as per RAW, a singing spear thrown is S9 2d6 armor pen. I doubt it will stay this way long, but it is RAW... No, at no point does the Eldar codex ever say that Singing Spears are Witchblades with a ranged profile. It compares them to Witchblades, but never says that they 'are' Witchblades. They are still the same as ever. Wound on 2+, S9 against vehicles.

| no it sais to look it up in the 40k RB, and there is a section for witchblades and singing spears, where it states, that a singing spear is considered a witchblade with the following ranged profile when thrown in the shooting phase: Singing spear 12" X 6 Assault1 | |

That's plain wrong. The rulebook never mentions the singing spear besides its entry in the appendix. You quoted the appendix right, but the entry doesn't show much on it's own, which leaves the Eldar Codex entry the only thing that states what a sining spear is. If you read the rule of it carefully you'll realize the following: A sining spear wounds on +2 like a witch blade against AI and can be thrown. Against AT on the other hand, it is Str 9. No single word about "acts like"; "is like a witchblade". It's only Str9+d6. Which also means that Anngul and Allandrel actually can read a book, while others....
