I've played a few games with the Baron, Urine (a monster), and the largest pack of grotesques I can muster (Aberration of course normally with a venom blade). The rest of my list stays pretty shooty with a couple ravagers (disintegrators if I can avoid tank busting) and a talos with haywiring. I do my best to get the grots right in their face ASAP. Who cares if they take some shots early on since they can take em. Besides, if they're wasting their entire ballistics on them then my venoms and speedy units (reavers too!) will pick off the more problematic units. After the first assault with the grots I spread them out as far into enemy territory as possible in the hopes that they assault me back on the following turn.
I spend a lot of time being cautious with the baron as I don't want him anywhere near the slaughterhouse. His whopping 105 pts are not concerning me with how many wounds he puts out. I use the Aberration to sit on anything significant if I'm worried about Urine. He's really scary for them as well.
Once they're spread out then it opens up my options for the next assault. If I even think about worrying Urine sometimes pops his casket open to thin things out but again, my speedy units are flying around shooting everything to pieces. I normallly take between 7-10 grots and have yet to fall below 3 by the end of the game. Oh yeah, it's nice that they're fearless first turn and have str7 via FC. Like having a pile of Hulks up front.
I played a game against Daemons recently and it was sad to watch everything he had DS in and die on my next turn. Straggles take poison darts.
The rest of my list comes from:
5 man Wyche w/haywires riding venoms.
10 man Kabalites in a raider with a blaster (racks if you have points)
6 man Reavers (blasters normally but sometimes the caltrops)
I haven't toyed with putting Urine in the very front of the squad yet. After the numbers start to dropping I keep him in the front all the time. The dual threats I haven't lost with yet.
