Thanks for the feedback, I spent quite a bit of time on the names and I'm also planning on customizing pretty much all of the models to fit a sort of silent hill theme with some influence from the Phyrexians from MtG. My wych units for example are actually going to be modeled as disturbing faceless flesh dolls and puppets.
I would like to shave some points off of my HQ but I just can't bring myself to drop any of the haemies or their personality-tailored wargear.
I'll try out your advice on dropping a wych from each squad, and good call on the aethersails - I forgot about coming in from reserves, will add those.
I like the squad of ten wracks because it lets me take an extra liquifier... but on the other hand I could easily make up for that by sticking Yscoth with them. I'll do that as well.
As far as Flesh Gauntlets go, the two friends I play against most often run 'nids and grey knights with lots of paladins and dreadknights, so I feel like instant death will actually score me more kills than power weapons against their MCs and warriors. My wyches run plenty of agonisers to deal with the one-wound units I feel.
Two more flocks of razorwings almost sounds like overkill to me in the beastmaster squad, I'm already getting 24 rending attacks on the charge! But maybe I'll try it out someday when I increase the list to 2k.
Lastly, in regards to the lack of long range AT, I'm hoping that the dark lances on my raiders will be enough to stun the most threatening ones for the first turn or two until I can start wrecking things with my wyches haywire grenades and the Talos. I'll see how it goes.
