I'm not sure how many of you folks will appreciate this as I know the old model range will probably divide opionion, but here goes anyway. Wink

For those of you who never had the pleasure of working with the old Ravager kit, it was an unholy melding of a plastic and metal kit. I always found it heavy, awkward and cumbersome. Essentially it was the standard plastic Raider frame with a few metal extras to atempt to hang on the side. I say attempt as one side pannel was heavier than the raider and was about an inch thick. They didn't look too bad but I always found them a pain in nether regions.

For reference here's a picture of the normal Ravager:

So back when I had money I set out to fix this issue because I wanted a Ravager but had no desire to play with the metal beast. So I aquired two Raider kits and decended the depths of the city to my Kabal's "mod shop". After some interesting cutting and filing, and pinching the metal disintergrators for the ravager kit, this is what rolled off of the production line...

It was a fun project, but one I'm glad I wont have to repeat. Although it did get my juices going to build the DE superheavy from the old VDR articles. Maybe that project needs an update. Twisted Evil

It's a great idea, I know 'cos one of my metal side plates feel off a couple of weeks ago ... again, and you pulled it off quite nicely. Perhaps I should just try and do the same.
