Ingredients,

1 Box of Reavers
1 DE wych back (you get an extra one in the Wych box)
2 Wych arms, one left and one right)
1 extra Reaver legs
Some plastic rod (square)
Some plastic rod (round) (0.8mm diameter?)
Some plastic sheet 1mm thickness I think - I work by eye!
Some green stuff
Glue, lots of glue - and the top of the glue pot!
The magic words!

Using one of the engine/seat parts from the Reavers box make a fascimile from your plastic rod, I think mine is 3 rods wide, and stepped to be close to the GW part. Add to the this the spare nose cone and side fins.

Using some green stuff make up the intakes, and use bitz or plasti-card to put some detail on them.
The seat in this is just a bottom layer to use up some left over GS

Having done that, the bike will be a tad narrow, so add some fairings cut from plastic card (make one and then trace around it for the other side.

To ensure it's not too wide use your extra Reaver legs glued to the spare torso and and extra back. I hadn't bought my wyches when I took this photo - hence no back! I've also added the tail fin, you get a spare in the Reaver box - good times! Smile

So now it's time to get serious, no more messing. Add the handle bars from your round rod - use the GW part as a guide to overall width and make sure these fit in the riders hands - mine didn't and have to be thinned! Be warned, but also note this only need to be true on one side - see later!

Note I've also added some extra GS to the saddle to bring it up level with the fairings, and I've blended the tail fin mount into body with more GS. I've also added the top of my glue pot as an exhaust - but you could use a GW part or a pen lid or whatever.

Almost there, don't quit now! Ok so we've added some small bits to hide the hole in the top of the nose and a spare splinter weapon under it. I've also added some bladey bits to thesides behind the rider,

For the arm cheat, take on of the riders from the Reaver box, steal one of his arms and give him a Wych weapon. Use the stolen arm on the jetbike you're making here along with the other wych arm, and you're away! Obviously the head is either from the Reavers or the Wyches, you get loads over from both boxes.

Thats some very nice work.

Another way is if you have or can get any old jet bike bodies. Thats what I did to make a ship for BFG (speaking of I need to get out the cam and actually start posting up my stuff lol)

Yeah from old bodies it's not very difficult to do a swap around of the nose.

Very nice scratchbuild though.

thanks, I'm still using my old bikes with the new, as I had 2 of the old ones (craigslist trade) and then 4 of the new. I'm thinking of adding another 3 to the squad to improve its resillience.

Sorry to necro this, but with how good reavers are now Id like to be able to get more than 3 per box

[b]Please do refrain from serious necro action as this thread has been dead for nearly 15 months. Thread locked.
