| So, I basically collected CWE a long time ago and can't be bothered with them anymore.
I already transformed 1 warwalker, 1 wraithlord, 2 vypers, 2 wave serpents, 1 hellion and 1 venom into a dias.
I am currently trying to transform dire avengers into warriors (working on it as we speak)
But now I also found 11 eldar jet bikes. And although the Reavers look amazing imo, I wouldn't want these bikes to go to waste. It als o a great opertunity to make the army even more one of a kind.
Has anyone come across an attempt of doing the same? Or does someone have a brilliant idea?

Great idea, here is an example. As for jetbike i dont know, models are too different. You might wanna see old Dark Eldar jetbike sprues.

| Wow, man, this is the best Kabalite Avenger I've ever seen. Very neat combination of the parts and amazing painting. You caught the lighting and shading extremely well on that model. It is display though, because imagining a whole army like that would somewhat kill my motivation to work on my projects It is yours... isn't it?! As for your conversion: I've seen plenty conversions the other way around so why wouldn't it work this way?! What you will need is reaver helmets (preferable the full-visor one) and some time. My spontaneous ideas for the bike would be this: -Replace the side-fins with spare Raider/Ravager/Venom blades. The ones that look like the reaver wings. -Depending on the materials available stretch the back part of the bike (where the rider is sitting) so you can repose the rider into a motorcycle position (like the original reavers once again) -Take a dremel tool and cut air vents into the EJB hull. Depending on the size of your holes you could use plasticard to build some visible cooling ribs. Hope that helps | |

Nope, it isn't )) I kinda traverse the interweb to know all there is on Dark Eldar )) So my standarts of painting is already spiked. Doesnt help with all painters around our hobby in my parts )). This one is from CoolMiniOrNot.com - a great source of inspiration.

| Nice, that dire avenger looks pretty sweet I started adding plasticard and old DE bits. I'll add paint and see how it compares to standard warrior. And then i'll take it from there to add/remove things Hmm, I do like those ideas. I should have those fins lying around somewhere | |

| Those Kabalite Avengers look good, but I'm not sure how feasible it's going to be to convert Guardian jetbikes to Reavers. I think the prows are too rounded to invest the models with enough murderous intent really, but that could be because of the excellent existing Reaver models skewing my opinion. You could give it a go, but I think you'd be better served keeping them as they are and using them as an allied scoring unit, as Windriders are one of the best scorers in the game. For the measly cost of 151 points (I think) you can get three and a Farseer, which will hugely bolster your force, whatever it consists of. But I look forward to being proved wrong if you go down the converting route for them too, the Avengers are looking good already! | |

| Mr. Believer, 3 naked bikes and a farseer (on bike) is actually 166 pts and yes, they are a good choice. I've seen a lot of people who modify their allies to match their main army (spiky wraith knight for example) so the conversion would be good. If you want to have allies though you have to make sure that your reaver conversion and your allies look reasonably different. As for your first approach, I like your conversion but I'd try to carefully file a sharpened blade onto the plasticard. like this. It's not that hard to do, you just have to use a very finely graded file and be careful. Always remember you can just file off, never file on | |

| Thanks for the tip Dogmar.
The point is i don't care how much better a CWE allied force can make us. I just like my army completly Dark Eldar, corsair, we-are-going-to-give-you-a-god-damn-bad-day style. not those damn flower-power, hippie, lets-sing-a-song eldar.
So, yeah. I just need to sharpen the CWE JB up, give them spikes, make them look racy in stead of chilling. All, great ideas! thanks fellas
