| a lascannon has a volume of 0.49 unsaved wounds - fortune conceal lock ftw - against a wraithguard unite, and that means the opponent isnt firing that lascannon at something you would use...like a vehicle and if he doesnt shoot at them, they will get close and will warp the bejezus out'o'im, he knows that, and 10wg+spiritseer are a troop choice. T6 3up save with an ap2 gun that wounds on a 2up and is insta kill on 5 or 6up, glances vehicles on 3up and pens on 5up. If only bonesingers would be able to revive wraithguards...^^ | |

| If you want to keep it cheap, how about putting the Farseer on a jetbike with one of our units. At 1750 pts I use a 15 models beastmaster unit accompanied by the Baron. The farseer could join this unit, and pick the base divination power (effectively a better quide). I'm considering using:
Farseer (20 point psychic power to swap for divination, Runes of Warding, Jetbike) - 120 3 Eldar Jetbikes (to stay in reserve and dash around and hopefully score) - 66 3 War Walkers (Shuriken Cannons) - 120
A nice tidy 306 pts

Yeah I like this idea actually. The Beasts can take some heat due to 4++ and multi wound Razorwing Flocks, and the Farseer makes them Ld10. Pity not Fearless but you can't have it all LOL

- ThAs for biker Seers, all I can say is: When was the last time *you* had trouble killing three Space Marines from a single unit in one turn? A false sense of security and constant need to move towards danger means that your average Biker Farseer is not long for this current plane of existence.
And why are you scared of 4 "space marines" that it garners your entire shooting anyway? the point is these guys are a support model. You should have so much else shoved down your opponents throats that the jetseer and GJB shouldnt be high on their concerns. You also shield them with your raiders and venoms so that they cant get directly targeted. Their jobs are to hide behind stuff and doom/prescense things. Sure, the opponent could focus on them, but that means more of your things lived, and we all know how much damage we can do with even 1 more venom that should of died last turn.

| I'd try Seer + Wraithguard (Conceal Warlock) + Baron. T6, 3+/4+cover save + rerolls + Hit and Run with superweapons. I could make them Troops but the cost is too damn high!
But maybe it's more useful in an Eldar army with DE allies

| I'm actually leaning towards the Beasts, Baron and Farseer on Jetbike unit. The Beasts will enable the Farseer to get nice and close, boosting their Ld and the Baron can lead from the front either conducting Look Out Sir wounds or taking big ones himself.
How to get them Fearless? - Add in a Fearless Character. Slows them down though. Comes at a high cost too. - Pain Token shuffle - Baron starts with Wracks, 2 Haemies with Beasts. 1 Haemie walks away, Baron comes over with Pain Token. Start 2nd Haemie at front of pack, he dies then Beasts can move at max speed with 3 Pain Tokens. Be careful not to loose all of the models with Power From Pain, as they will loose the Fearless ability.

That or DOOMING the enemy unit. Either way there'll be a fair few rending wounds on offern EDIT: The primaris power would be awesome if you multi assault with Beasts.....say a unit of Termies and a tank

The Divination primaris would be great, and with the chance of some other devastating powers, make the opponent re-roll successful saves, 4+ invuln for the whole group?
