After my hivefleet had be introduced into the Wh40k canon by phil kelly in the rulebook (p.166) the author of the tyranid odex gave a little more illustration to the fleet.

And what a surprise, he used the dark kin to be the contraband to my hivefleet.

So this blog will show in the near futur the background, motives and of cause the minatures of the Poisend Talon, before they encountered the hivefleet.

Good evening dark city!

It is normally not my way i do things, but at them moment i have no other choice.
The pictures below were taken with my mobile-camera and they are far from being the best and i apologise for that!

But they are the only pictures i have atm.

So first, my paint scheme.
Though hard to tell from the pictures, it is a dark green/blue, with bright green aplications and where it is needed, white hair/fur.

I know that i have left a lot of the beautifull details on these models unpainted. But i am in the middle of the end of my studies and i had to find a way to paint them fast...




Next is the transport for my 4 fleshborn witht heir archon carrying blasters (minis not included in the pictures ) before GW released an official model for it.




Ofcause no Kabal moves out without their inccubi. I am no big fan of metal models (god bless for FC) so i mixed them with the warrior sprue. Since it was a real pain to get the metal arms holding i used some glaies aswell and i really really like them. So if i need to do more Inccubi, i will probably use more of them.




And last the most blurry pic of all... my Archon, but i hope you know where it goes...

They look awesome Hydra. I know the feeling with camera-phones, it's all I've got to take pictures on. But from what I can see they very good.

My favourite is the venom, I think it looks great that bit longer than normal.

The archon looks good from what I can see. I'm currently looking for ideas on how to make a female Archon as my atempt with the Succubus model hasn't really captured the character, so I can't wait to see some better pics of yours.

I know you are waiting... and i dearly hope, that you can wait just a little longer. I am in the thick of my final exams in university. My exam thesis is due on friday... after that i hope to have more time for my minis.

Terrific work as always, Hydra. Your kit-bashed Incubi with the glaives are very dynamic and add a nice new element to the overall squad.

Love the incubi, don't love the thumb ring

I think you could put a tiny bit of plasticard under the incubi feet as they're currently a little buried in the basing. Otherwise I really like what you've done.

Loving what I can make out of the Archon, and the Venom is a good use of parts too.

Plastic Incubi are an instant win in my books too

Well, fellow dark ones.

It has been quite some time since i last posted some progress here. Not that i have laid back and enjoyed some slaves. I just didn't has time to take some shots.

So prepare for some pic-mayhem (please excuse the partly blurry pictures, i had little time doing the pictures).

The Bestmasters have a special place in my heart and in the fluff of my kabal. And beasts are the perfect slot to give your kabal some different colours. I chose the colours way brighter than the rest of my army so that they poke out.
So first of some khymeras.

When i first saw the Dark Elf Cold Ones i knew, i had to use them somehow. Though i love the hellions, I had a different idea, that gave them some StarWars flair:





For a certain project i will explain at another place, i have made a really big beast



Last but not least, the long overdue pictures of my archontin and her "son" my blaster archon accompanied by his balster born.

Wow. How did you make your Archon? Do you have WIP shots?

Sadly only the blurry one. I used a demonette, gave her the second breast ana "cloak" of greenstuff. The head is form a demonette aswell, with the faceplate and the hair sculpted.

The arms were spare parts form my raiders as the shoulder guards from the hellions (a reason i really love them for is that htey have these...)

She's amazing. Great work!

Well... i haven't come around to do that (honestly was just happy when i could glue it into place) and i am not quite sure if i should do than anyway. I fear, it might look crappy...

In other games, i am thinking of using it in Apoc games. I love the beastmasters and so i though about making a Datasheet. Just for the LoLs.
And because that is one reason i love apoc so much. you can play something completly wierd or dumb without loosing everything and people are more open minded.
