I received my box of Bloodbrides and feel strongly this same shame, but I've taken steps to alleviate my horror. I'll post pictures of the lovely brides later!

| Well it is almost the 25th in some parts of this mon-keigh ridden planet, so Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Best Wishes to everyone, and may your Raiders burst with plunder in 2013!
This is turning out to be an excellent Santa Raid, in terms of both gifts and the speed with which most gifts have been sent. Well done everyone.
I would like to gently remind everyone that it is not a competition, that the main point of joining the raid is simply to participate and have fun. As was mentioned in the initial message, not everyone has the same personal abilities and resources available to them, so don't be worrying about sending blisters.
Some gifts will not make it in time for Christmas, that is the nature of the beast. Some senders were simply later than others, RL always rears it's ugly head, but there are a number of reasons why some arestill in the mail.
And there is a very, very small number of participants from whom I have not yet received word about their sending a gift. I have sent them a query about the status of their raid and if necessary, will follow up with their victim.
Santa. | |

| It might not be a competition, but it is the Dark Eldar way to be the best. Or to destroy anyone who is better so that we are. | |

| Thanks Kinnay!
Couldn't have asked for a better timing. Barely 5 minutes at hime from work when the door bell rings. Dreading it's my opponent for our last 40k games this year who is early. I open the door to find the postman with a package.
What I found within the package was delicious stuffing, Succubus(I'll blue-tac her battle ready for our game), 5 large scenic bases that I can use for paintokens, dice and tokens for below 50% and no assault.
Thanks again! It's Christmas all over again. Now to teach the Monkeigh a lesson or two.
Posting pictures during the weekend.

| You're welcome, Devilish! I'm glad you liked your gifts. I hope the Succubus has survived the trip and the German Christstollen still tasted good! The scenic bases were meant for exactly that: pain tokens. Hope you can make good use of them. I thought the dice were nice because of their purpleness ( ) and the black tokens... Well maybe you can use them for something. | |

| I received my package yesterday and ripped it open at work, to reveal a wonderful, magnetized Haemonculus. This perfectly fits my armory of magnetized IC weapons arms. Thank you Elzadar. | |

| Glad to see the gifts are still arriving at their intended destinations. That magnetized Haemie looks great Tiri, although I can't imagine fiddling with such tiny magnets!
UPDATE - of the 25 participants, 8 have not yet notified me that they have received their gifts. However, of those 8 victims, only 2 of the senders have not informed me that a gift has been sent.
So, 6 of the 8 yet-to-arrive gifts are still in the postal warp, somewhere. Several gifts were sent just before Christmas, and at least one after Christmas, so obviously they could still take a while to actually arrive.
I will begin hunting down any missing participants and gifts that I have not been notified about at the end of this week. It is unfortunate that not everyone gets a gift in time for Christmas, but that's RL for you. Only one participant seems to have been vapourised completely. I always give people as much leeway as I possibly can, but this one does appear to been sucked into the Eye of Terror, so the Aid Committee may have to be called into action again this year.

| It is rather unfortunate that the denizen who was the first out of the gate getting a gift in the mail has not yet received their own.
I do have to ask for just a bit more patience, please. I have e-mailed everyone who is still waiting (down to 6 now), as well as the senders of those gifts.
The Aid Committee will be getting called into action before the end of this week - to what extent will depend upon the replies I get in the next 4 days.

It is unfortunate. I still haven't received my gift either. Despite this fact, I still think this is a great idea and will participate next year!

| Finally! Though the (soon really really unhappy and in the pain-world residing) Postman left my Gift with the kiosk-man from across the street, without giving me notice, I have finally recieved my gift! But first I had my kyhmera take a sniff for eventual poison... After she gave the "clear" sign I found this in the box: Thank You very very much! This is exactly what i can use for my Coven and even might finally give me the kick iI need to get going on models again! Thanks!!! | |

| Love your khymera Hydra, mine just sleeps all day Always nice to see some covenly goodness, too. I would be very remiss not to mention a follow-up to my gift of two khymerae. My gifter, Foo, also created a digital painting for me, which I think is excellent and very thoughtful. In fact, Agent Foo’s library on Deviantart is full of great art worth checking out. Here is a thumbnail of my Archon artwork, which I now need to find a suitable place to display at home: It is based on my kitbash of Duke Sliscus: https://2img.net/h/i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu221/gobsmakkd/Dark%20Eldar/010-2.jpg | |
