To Rise Above the Fall - Out of Character

If somebody can try and pilot a Raider so it stops plummeting while blind and deaf then I was thinking it wouldn't be too difficult to throw a youngling and a Trueborn into the cabin. (Also, can you really trust Chy'ier to sit next to a hole in the Raider? )
I was talking to Malys about the RP yesterday and as she didn't raise an issue with it I thought it would be fine. I don't mind changing it, though.

You're not blinded, but as I said precise targeting is not really possible until the many afterimages pass. Maybe 'lightburn' didn't convey this like I hoped So D isn't too blind to grope around and shove people in a door. He might, however, be resisted in his shoving.

To clarify I have no problem with Cavash's actions, but they will take up all the time from the explosion until either someone pulls up the burning, crashing Raider or it hits the deck.

Because of the nature of the situation you are in - crashing Raider, on fire - I want to wait for everyone's posts before I make mine. This is not intended as a poke at anyone, because I know that in at least one case real life has intruded.

So take what time you need, and I will get a post done once you've all checked in.

Psycheer, please let me know here or in PM if you're not going to be able to post - I don't really want to miss another week's update. I know there can be many reasons why not but I rather want to move the game on, and I don't want to NPC anyone's actions if I don't have to - particularly in the middle of dramatic situations.

Please note that that last part is general, not specific I'm not shouting

On a related note what would people prefer? A weekly update regardless of who posts, or would you prefer (as I've seen done elsewhere) to wait for everyone to post? If the experiment doesn't work I can go back to weekly posting. That does. however, sometimes have the side effect of me having to make up what people do

I prefer the weekly update. Giving people that leniency always results in people never posting at all. Its not fair to the others.

weekly... waiting normally kills RP games in my experience

Sorry about the no post last week, bottom fell out and i got slammed. Go ahead and NPC me this week and I should be able to pick it up again next round.

I also support the 1 post a week regardless rule.

It looks as if the one week rule is the way to go - I had the same reasons for making it weekly to start with, namely that it kills games when there isn't a regular posting schedule, and momentum - but I was willing to look at alternatives.

Unless there are major objections from anyone then I will be going back to the One week, one GM post rule - though as before if anyone wants to make multiple posts they can
