To Rise Above the Fall - Out of Character

I fail to understand why a character who has deprived his team of both a potential ally and useful items due to bad decision making is promptly rewarded with the finding of a power sword.

cause he was the only one to actually search. Also lets add that he is a dark eldar, and would hide anything he found to his liking anyway

It is really that simple. He found it because he looked for it. No-one else thought to look for weapons (or at least said they were doing so), so no-one else got any.

He's not being rewarded for killing off an NPC. He's getting the results his action would naturally have.

It would be a fairly serious lack of impartiality if the wreckage was suddenly empty because the PC doing the searching acted in one way or another. It would also be a bit off if I made the environment judgemental, and had it reflect what I think of an idea. It's neutral.

NPCs now ... they can judge all they want. And they will. But it will be according to their personalities.

the only demon's that we see are just the ones we're fighting, there arn't any behind them? (trying to clarify for my post)

also would be be clearer to post intentions here before we write up the post so you can give us the A-OK so we can just type it out???

It's my intention to do an old school Molten Core spin the boss type move to open up a shot, but if there are more behind them....about that...

You can only see the daemons in front of you.

By intentions, just to be clear, I mean you can say "I want to shoot the daemon in the head" in your post, but not "I shoot the daemon in the head and kill it and ...". Does that clarify things? If not please ask

Sadly there's been no sign of CaptainBalroga for a while - if we don't hear from Valarauka for another week I am regrettably going to have to take him out of the game Has anyone else heard anything from our wandering Sybarite?

Just a repeat warning that hopefully won't be needed ... I have had internet problems for the last two days. It's recurred before, and it may well do again. I don't seem to have anything I can do about it except sit it out, because by the time the ISP are involved it's usually gone.

... that totally confused me until I went back and read my question

Although it's very late, I wanted to get a GM post in. It's there now I know that gives you all a very tight window to reply, but I wanted to move the game along and most of you seem to prefer to post at the start of the week anyway.

If anyone does need more time, that seems reasonable to me, but do let me know, otherwise the next GM post will be due as usual on Wednesday evening GMT
