The Coven

So I've been toying with the idea of running a Coven army. Having several Haemonculi and an Ancient. Lots of Wracks, Grotesques and Mandrakes and a few Talos Pain Engines just for a fun theme army. Anyone doing this or tried it? I looked becuase I'm sure this has been posted before, but I didn't see anything in older posts so if this has been asked forgive me. Thanks!

I added Haywyches, Blasterborn and Reavers to add some AT. Don´t know if it will be enouth.

Would it be possible to use only Coven units and leave the Kabalites out completely.

You could also possibly add in Scourges to your list of units since they are kinda enhanced by the Haemonculi Covens, and nothing else in your Fast Attack choice. That would also add some ranged attacks in whatever way you need to your army as well.

If you like the idea, I say why not go for it? If you need to use Warriors or Wyches for gaming purposes, you could always model them as if they are also servants of the Haemonculi, mutated in different ways then Wracks to serve a different purpose. I remember seeing someone use the little arms from the Talos kit on some 'mutant Wyches' a while back that looked pretty cool. That's my thoughts on it, as I don't get to game much personally but more so enjoy the building and themeing of an army.

Your problem will be the lack of anti-tank that you could even up a little bit by using Scourges.
