Some help? First 40K Army List - 750 pts.

Archon w/venom blade, PGL, shadow field (120 pts.)
Incubi (x5) (110 pts.)
in Raider w/dark lance & aethersails (65 pts.)

Warriors (x10) w/blaster & splinter cannon (130 pts.)
in Raider w/dark lance & night shields & splinter racks (80 pts.)

Wyches (x5) w/haywires (60 pts.)
in Venom w/extra splinter cannons (65 pts.)

Ravager w/dark lances & night shields (115 pts.)

For a grand total of 745 pts.


Any thoughts?

I would consider dropping one incubi and running them in a venom. You can hide venoms behind raiders (as they block line of sight), this can really help keep those incubi alive until they get into combat. I also wouldn't bother with the night shields, you either go all out and give everything night shields or don't bother. In your current list your opponent would just shout the transports without night shields first, effectively making the night shields pointless.

i woud have to say , ditch the aethersails and put in night shields . you already have movement to do what kneaded the extra movement isent going to do mutch, on the other side if you play your cards right the shields will make your army survive alot more ( i made a negron army not shoot for 2 turns and put him on foot and whidout long range XD he was spiting fire and calling me all sort of names XD) .

I agree with Mush on this one, dropping an Incubi and switching to a venom with dual cannons. For 750 point list i think this unit would be 'too killy'... if there is such a thing.

This unit is fine, If i'd suggest anything it would be to decide to pick either the blaster OR the Scannon and drop the racks for either nothing or Night Shields.

I typically go all in on my Night Shields, but i have my own style of play like everyone else. With that being said, I'd suggest running what you want to and play this list a lot, test different load outs that are popular, and slowly refine it to how your style works.

In Venom +cannons (65 pts.):
Archon +venom blade +PGL +shadow field (120 pts.)
Incubi x4 (88 pts.)

In Raider +NS +racks:
Warriors (x10) +blaster +cannon (210 pts.)

In Venom +cannons (65 pts.)
Wyches (x5) +haywires (60 pts.)

Ravager +NS (115 pts.)

That's a total of 723 pts. or 708 if I drop the blaster. What should I do with the remaining points? I thought about huskblade on the archon or something, but that seems excessive at this point level.
