| This is my first army list and i will be playing my first games in a couple weeks when i have everything painted. I will be playing my local gw managers grey knights, my oldest brothers tau empire, and my younger brothers hammers of dawn (strike force ultra).
so here is my list:
Archon -Huskblade -Soul-trap -Shadow field -Phantasm grenade launcher
Incubi x4 -Venom/splinter cannon/nightshield
Kabalight Trueborn x4 -Blaster -Venom/splinter cannon/nightshield
Kabalite Warriors x10 -Splinter cannon -Raider/night shields/flickerfield
Wyches x5 -Hydra gauntlets -Haywire grenades -Venom/splinter cannon/night shields
Wyches x5 -Hydra gauntlests -Haywire grenades -Venom/splinter cannon/night shields
Not sure if this is any good I have just put it together with bits that i have at the moment. Any changes you think i should make would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

| It's a good list to start from, but I'd do some minor tweaks.
- Nightshields are totally a wast if you put them on a unit that have to go in close combat, so take tham away from wyches's venome, blasterborn's venom (blasters are only R18'') and incubis' venom. 40 pts gained.
- Blasterborn are 3 blaster right? I'll take away one of the trueborns: 3 with 3 blasters. 12 pts gained.
- I personally prefer to give to my archon drugs instead of soultrap, but it's however a good choiche.
- If you change the incubi's venom with a raider (you gain another 5 points here for a total of 57), you can take an homunculus with venom blade and put him with archon and incubi to have fnp from turn one. If you find somwhere other 10 points give him even a liquifier gun.
Cheers! | |

| Thanks for the advice on nnight shields i have to admit i was not to sure about them but i thought i would add them just incase i was being stupid. as for blasterborn i went 4 just because in the codex it said 4 can have blasters but it would be good to have more points. I was thinking of combat drugs on archon i mainly went soultrap because i put one on his base I do have a homunculus and was looking for somewhere to put him, I was thinking of only using him in bigger games so thanks for the advice there. | |

| Why not drop the nightfield from the warrior's raider and invest them into splinter racks? I, also, would upgrade your incubi with a klaivex and onslaught. Could be worth it. As I understand it, you don't have a restriction in point costs, so you could spend more.
For the night shields: Use them on a ravager. With 36" range, he is the one to take advantage from it.

| You are right i have no point cost against the gw manager who i will be playing against the most because he can prity much make up whatever with the stock he in the back. My brothers have big armys anyway so i should be alright point wise against them to.
I was aprehensive of upgrading an icubi because i have heard there not that good
I am going to buy a ravager maybe next week so thanks for the advice on that.

| I'd agree with you Alpharius, maybe save the points on the Incubi upgrades. Yes they can be scary strong with the Klaivex and Onslaught, but that's a big investment and makes them an even more tempting target. They're already really good at what they do (which is kill everything they touch).
Putting a Haemonculus with that unit is solid advice, though, and I also fully endorse swapping their ride to a Raider if you've got the model. That extra hull point makes a world of difference with the new 7th edition Jink rules!
Best of luck | |

Right, they are strong that way and yes, they are a really tempting target. But I find the investment worth it, most times, I use them. What I want to try, is using the demi glaive. Might be a fail decision, but I'm really eager to see it in action. Which reminds me to post a thread in the modeling corner... The haemi is a solid advice, not only for his free pain token, but his other qualities as well. I don't know the proper english term, but he has access to a great poison weapon. It's poison (3+) and gives an extra attack for 15 points. Combined with his normal ccw, it should give even mc's something to think about. 5 attacks, wounding on 3+, when assaulting, isn't half bad.

| "Mathammering" the flesh gauntlet (the weapon you are talking about) it's a lot less effective than the venom blade, that it's even a lot cheaper. | |

| I don't mathhammer. I try for myself, when I have the chance. So, it's called flesh gauntlet? When I translate it one on one from german, it says: scissor hand... | |

| I'm right? In a warhammer weapons translation? That's a first... edit: What can a flesh gauntlet do? | |

| Flesh Gauntlets are Poison (4+) w/ Instant Death and Ap - and off the top of my head I believe only Haemonculi can have them (Urien Rakarth has one that is 3+). | |
