Duke goes Aegis

I think I'm going to add an aegis and quad gun and need some ideas of what to make it out of.

My original plan is to add a ton of space marine helmets kebabed on poles in the form of fences which would make up the entire line.

Do I paint them all one chapter or lots of different ones? I think it'd make more sense if it was just one chapter as why would he bring all these helmets? - he'd have just decimated a crimson fists force and made a fence out of their heads for the lulz. The variety though would look more interesting though right?

Do I pile up some corpses too?

What else can I add? I think it'd be more interesting if there just sections of this and other things on there too.

Some banners?

Crashed jetbike?

A mobile bar?

I need to riff on Duke's eccentricity and style but unsure of how much further I can take this.....

Best aegis for an eldar army would be a force field in my opinion. some generator poles stuck in the dirt (sort of mobile pylons) and between that a wall painted like, well... energy, with lightning and all.

If you're into the corpse wall thing though, anything could serve that purpose, cut down speeders / rhinos would make great barricades.

Because i play on tournaments i needed the correct size.

Welcome to the forum VanSan, I think we've all seen your project log on Warseer and glad you've made the trip over here. Your quad gun is the best I've seen so far, really really cool and it may influence mine a bit.

I have the plans for the defence line done in plastic card and all cut, I also have some 1.5mm brass rod all here so this will be starting soon. Need a Vyper now for the gun, going to use the turret.

That defence line is something else! Good work, what did you make the sections from?

I've got most of what I ned for my Aegis defense line already. My plan is to make it out of the corpses of Imperial guardsmen in various stages of dismemberment and torture, connected together in variously hideous ways.

Though after seeing VanSan's work, I have to admit feeling a bit discouraged. Great work!
