| Absolutely nuts SC. Top-notch modeling and painting as always. BTW I've got to slow down and make sure all the images load when I check out your thread because somehow I missed those lions! Boy do I love them absolutely incredible. The legend of this army only continues to grow! | |

| @Cavalier. Thanks man I am hoping to get the beastpack finished this week (although got a job interview & presentation I have to prepare for so it will prob take a backseat for awhile). The plan is to get all my half finished units fully painted so I have at least 1000pts of fully functional fun to put on the tabletop by the end of the summer. | |

| Those Ssylth are beautiful! Skin tone looks excellent, it's the sort of tone I'd like my own Hamies/Wracks to have. I recognize the sumo bodies you've used. I had plans a long time ago to get some and turn them into Nurgle cultist brutes for a Necromunda campaign I ran. Never got around to it though. Not sure how easy it would be to get those models now as I think the game line discontinued. | |

| @Demantiae. Thanks very much You are in luck, they are not the models you think they are. They are these :- http://www.games-workshop.com/en-GB/Putrid-Blightkings. Heavily converted of course | |

I'll check out those blightkings, they look like great base models for conversions.

| My last Khymera conversion is now complete and painted. Of course I could not let my lone monkey go without a pal in my carnival beast pack, so here he is. Mr Monfufulous I like to call him. The previous Monkey had a blue beach ball and a pink hat, so I reversed the colours on this chappie and went with a pink ball and blue hat. Works very well I think. A nice simple model to paint, but alot of fun. The orange fur was especially fun to do and it came out very nicely. I am also pleased with the blue of the hat and the little hearts on it. One more model to go and my beastpack will be complete. It has been a slow week as I have had a big job interview to prepare for, but hopefully over the weekend I can get the last dude done and also finish my clown warp gate I have been working on. Ta ta for now! SC

| Wow wow wow! First I stumble across this thread due to some comment you made in another thread - then I find your Space Wolves which are completely different but at least as cool! Crazy! I bow to your conversion and painting skills! Bravo and thank you for sharing! | |

| @BlackCadian. Thanks very much . I am pleased you like both my armies. It is really refreshing to be able to switch between the two as they both have different ways & levels of painting, so when I am tired of one I can switch to the other for a break @shwaym. no worries, the heads are from the new plastic imperial guard ogryn/bullgryn kit | |

| Still killing it SC. Awesome to see 2 little monkey men join the troupe. Question... you are going to make accompanying terrain for this army right? lol | |

| Thanks @Cavalier I am working on a clown portal terrain piece at the mo out of the AOS gates, and plan to do a few more carnival/circus themed ones too. I like the new occulum piece for the age of sigmar too so I have a few plans in mind for that | |

| Woohoo I have completed another unit finally. It only took me two years for this one! I am super happy with the results. You may have seen bits and bobs from this unit posted up as I slowly worked on individual elements. I hope seeing the whole unit together makes much more sense than just individual models. I think it works really well, and all the seperate elements come together nicely. The idea was of a motley circus pack goaded on by two beastmasters. I decided the mass element would be provided by the lion khymera's, with the monkeys and razor parrots added for some fun elements, and also because they were a blast to convert and paint . I modelled the beast masters with lion cloaks to blend in with the pack, and gave them circus taming weapons for animal control purposes (or just to cause maximum fury by goading them on). | Time has been tight recently, and I am struggling to get projects completed, and my motivation to paint my carnival is waning (as usual, being a hobby butterfly). I had my first game of Malifaux on sat and loved it, so I went home and dug my crew out the cupboard and started painting. However I wanted to get my final talos conversion finished, as it had been waiting for that final inspiration to come. The parts were not working together and I could not get a clear idea where I wanted the model to go theme wise. Oddly enough the eureka moment was the balloon pumping station the Talos is leaning his foot on. I found the part in my bits box, and put it together with a chopped up piece from the stormfiend kit, and blam! I had a foot pump for my ballon guy. All the rest of the model really stemmed from there, working round each element until it was completed. This was certainly the hardest one out of the three to build, but the finished article is no less successful I feel. Feedback is always appreciated SC

| @Cavalier. Cheers dude, your continued encouragement is really appreciated I plan on another terrain piece using the new AOS luminous occulem, to have a carnival merry go round in the middle of the dome with horses ect. Should be cool | |

| Wow wow wow - again, your stuff is so cool! That Khymera pack and the Grot with the balloons, just CRAZY! To even just think of things like that!
Why am I not surprise that you like, Malifaux, too! The style of the game is awesome, I really want to try it, even if I have to force my gf to play with/against me (because nobody in my gaming club plays it).
What cre do you play? I plan on getting the new starter for Christmas latest, and I like Perditas crew best. Crazy mexican family!

| @BlackCadian. Thanks man, that is much appreciated. I am really pleased you are enjoying my stuff I really enjoyed my game of malifaux and have a few more planned for next week. The card mechanic is really interesting and I like the whole feel of the game. The minis are absolutely stunning as well. I have the masters of the path starter, izamu the armor, Toshiro the daimyo & yin the penangalan. I have a thing for samurai, especially if they are undead Def get your gf into the game. Out of all mini wargames malifaux is the one I see a lot more females playing. I think the aesthetics of it and the play style tends to be more appealing across both sexes, which is great Go with whatever crew you like the look of for sure. Rule of cool works super well in malifaux. Can't go wrong with crazy Mexicans | |
