| Wow! They go with your drazhar perfectly! Where are the cloaks from? Are they your own?
Can't wait to see paint on these guys and the big man himself!

| Thanks they are from victoria miniatures. Wanted something with a little movement to them and slimline, and these fitted the bill perfectly. I think I might just paint them next, depending on how they perform in my first game of 7th ed on friday. | |

| Ahh I love there stuff. Been meaning to put a big order in for my converted guard I'm starting.
I hope they perform well to persuade you to paint them! Good luck in your first 7th game, I have yet to get any of my armies off the ground...

| Nice mandrakes, very great ideas. Would be cool if your incubi were wielding guitars or some kinda instrument with sharp edges Have you painted Azdragath yet? | |

| Cheers dragontree. They perfomed ok in game but died to slaneeshi ap3 flamers after chopping a 5 man unit into little pieces. Ran drazhar with them who tanked quite a few shots but both him and the incubi are far too expensive in my honest opinion for what they kill. Def be painting them soon but have a few troop units looking at me with accusing eyes while I have been painting all the fun stuff. Thanks facelessabsolom. Great to have you back slashing guitars would have been cool, reminds me of the old school slaneesh rock guitarist models. Man they were cool. Not painted him yet but he is on the list Trying to use all the fun stuff as rewards for getting troop units and other such chores painted. | |

| Really liking the use of the new WE parts on your Incubi, they look fantastic, and have fine, fine headwear, and thanks for all the inspiration. | |

| Thanks . Yes I am looking forward now to getting a few more painted up. Now the mental block is broken I feel I can take on the challenge (even though they are quite a time investment and frustrating to paint). I am trying to tie up my half finished units this summer, which include my beast pack, warrior squad & the crew for the raider. Once done I will tackle a venom I think and then poss a ravager (both vehicles must takes in my opinion) | |

| Hey Spell Haven't checked in for awhile, my DE/E army has taken a backburner as i bring my orks up to new codex stylinz, which is quite a big task and ofc i went a little mad and now have like 4 ork units in the queue ahead of the dar. Your incubi look sick! the cloaks are awesome, were they pricey? currently all my DE/E have cloaks I made which aren't all that great tbh. The raider as usual fits your aesthetic perfectly loving the little extra details you threw on. the hearts are GS yeh? or just cut out plasticard? Glad you managed to work your way out of a painting block il have to post you my big mek on bike with shokk gun, its rather crazeh. | |

| I haven't said anything before, but I am in awe! It makes me want to stamp on all my miniatures and throw them away, because they're rubbish! RUBBISH, I tell you! I won't, though. | |

| @ Solar. Ta very much Great to have you back. Dont worry I am distracted by the wolves at the moment, and am frantically converting some blood claws and grey hunters so I can get onto the awesome stuff like santa's sled . The cloaks were from victoria miniatures, and they were a very reasonable price, with free shipping from Australia! The hearts and butterflies were all plasticard. I was going to paint lots of stipes and patterns ect instead but it just looked too crazy busy so a few simple additions of the hearts ect were enough to jazz it up a bit without overpowering it all. Yeah would love to see your new mek model. With your converting skills and the great new kits gw has bought out recentyl it should look pretty awesome @ Barking Agatha, Your stuff is awesome ( mutual pats on the back all round ) thanks for the compliment . I nearly tore my eyes out in frustration painting the darn raider so glad it is not too shabby looking. Still got the crew to go though, which I am dreading. @ Tengu. Just been painting up my bathroom today. Unfortunately real life takes over painting little plastic people sometimes., especially if the other half had been demanding said paint job for over a year :/ @ Lord Alino. 300 models! Man you is crazy | |

| Simply place your models at the bottom of the wall and just make sure your a rather aggressive wall painter! walls and models painted in one! and if yo realllly crazy, base coat them black for a pokadot effect! As for my big mek, imagine; necron bike, the skaven doomwheel, an oldskool fire prism and your on your way there on shift atm but il take a picture later and post | |

| Voila! Not fully complete, needs a few more bits of GS work and it has a base too It has to have a pretty heavy base to balance out the prism. EDIT:Realised two pics were the same one changed to the intended 3

| well yeh the problem was the weight of the prism, so i decided that i needed to position the prism as close to the centre line as possible and use a reasonably weighted base to hold stop it tipping. So its basically atm just cork board with lots of layers over coins. Same width as a bike base with a little overhang. Its curved and angled to one side so that the bike looks like its leaning, allowing it to keep the prism central. Only real issue is the model turned out rather large wont be much cheeky LOS tricks | |

| Why not add like a small cliff side to the side the prism isn't on? Might add for some neat background. | |

its reasonably cliff like atm (just poor explaining on my half), but yeh it definitely needed quite alot of base, as its such a large bike model and I had to use like 5-6 coins to get the weight i needed
