| I am entering into a tournament this Saturday and I tried the below list out already and it epic ally destroyed the one guy I played against with it. It could have been a fluke so i figured I would still post it and see what others think.
2000 - sitting at 2000
Lelith 175
4 incubi (goes with lelith) venom 2 X splinter Cannon and NS - 163
Ravager NS - 115
Ravager NS - 115
Ravager NS - 115
Jetfighter - 145
4 Trueborn with 4 Blasters in Venom 2 x Splinter Cannon and NS - 183
4 Trueborn with 4 Blasters in Venom 2 x Splinter Cannon and NS - 183
6 Reaver (2 with heatlances) - 156
5 wyches, haywire grenades and venom 2 x splinter cannon NS - 135
5 wyches, haywire grenades and venom 2 x splinter cannon NS - 135
10 Kabolite Warriors, splinter cannon, Raider with Splinter Racks, NS - 190
10 Kabolite Warriors, splinter cannon, Raider with Splinter Racks, NS - 190
As you can see I brought lelith along for the ride. I didnt even get to test her out with the 4 incubi I brought with her since my list destroyed everything that was on the table before the guy could get his deep striking units in so Im not sure just how great her and the incubi will be but in theory they should be able to smash some units up for me.
Let me know what you think.

| One glaring flaw: you have four heavy support options when the FOC only allows up to 3. | |

| its a 2000 pt list. I thought you could only take 3 if you were 1999 pts and below. At 2000 your FOC doubles. | |

| With a double force org you have to take 2 HQ. One for each | |

| Crap, that is true. I do need to throw a Hammi in there some place in order to make this legal. Hmmm | |

| I think you need more troops. You are going to need units for scoring and the wyches look like they are geared for a suicide run. So that basically leaves you with two scoring units | |

| wow this is hard now that you found that hole in my army....any ideas on how to get similar fire power (atleast the darklances anyways) and also be with in my FOC? Maybe adding a hammi and a small unit of trueborn lancers? but then what in order to use up more points and possibly get another scoring unit as has been suggested. | |

| Ok, so im going to take out the jet and put in a 5 man squad of scourge. I don't really have many options at this point due to all my vehicles being used up already so im limited at this point but a 5 man squad of scourge should be perfect. What to load them out with? Haywire Blaster, or regular blasters. Lances will make them a bit too slow i think. Any suggestions? | |

| Haywire Blasters are more reliable at stripping hull points thanks to the rules for Haywire and the longer range will keep them somewhat safer. On the other hand, Blasters are more likely to destroy vehicles with a penetrating hit and are good against heavily armoured infantry and monstrous creatures. Additionally, they have the same range as Shardcarbines, so you wouldn't have to worry about mixed ranges.
If your concern is mech, take the Haywire Blasters, otherwise, regular Blasters seems the better choice.

| I think i have enough AV in my list as of right now so im going to go with the blasters to serve as a semi duel purpose. Shoot at some vehicles if need be and or put out some heavier fire power at some termies or any other armored infantry i come against. Hopefully they will be a good threat to boost some survivability of my other units.
Now to the next thought....should i deepstrike them? Hmmm... Could be useful to try and help out with my bikes that i typically try and use behind enemy lines. Its just a good way of putting some good damage and then hopefully distracting some good enemy units away from my main force coming from the front....thoughts? experiences you have had in this concept?

| Tournament went great. My scourage unit didnt do much of anything when deepstriking them or not deepstriking them. I only lost 1 game that was a kill points game on caos space marines. With my vehicles counting as kill points i basically got slaughtered in terms of victory points but on the table it looked close if not sided my way. The rest of the tournament was based on objectives and they were all epic games that ended with some smart DE position techniques for end game moves. | |
