| my opponent moved his dark talon 35" and called it combat speed, not cruising speed as it does not say moving past 18" results in it counting as having moved cruising speed(36") at the time i did not care as i was winning 7 to 2 in the last turn of the game, but i am wondering about this now the rule does seem to say that only 36" is cruising speed and not anywhere before that point, thoughts? | |

| The Rule Book FAQ covers this. Your opponent was playing it right. | |

| You might want to re-read the FAQ there, Mush. - Quote :
- Page 80 – Flyers, Zoom.
Change the fourth sentence to read “If a Flyer Zooms, it has a Combat Speed of 18" and a Cruising Speed of up to 36".” Emphasis on the "up to", meaning that anything between 18" and 36" is cruising speed, so the guy was playing it wrong. | |

| Woops, I missred the question. But flyers can always fire up to four weapons regardless. So what's the problem? | |

| Correct. As far as I know the only rule that discriminates between combat and cruising speed is locked velocity. | |
