Here are the first 5 of 15 wracks I have to paint

Nice Wrack! 001-2310 Nice Wrack! 002-2810 Nice Wrack! 003-2710

Cheeky magnets

Nice Wrack! 004-2410 Nice Wrack! 005-2010 Nice Wrack! 006-2010

The many faces of the Athocyst (agoniser, flesh gauntlet and vanilla)

Nice Wrack! 009-910 Nice Wrack! 010-710 Nice Wrack! 011-410

Spare arms

Nice Wrack! 007-1510

First time working with finecast, when it's good the detail is amazing but when it's bad there are holes missing digits and horrible miscastings (lucky for me wracks are supposed to be a bit thrown together).

Did the Flesh Gauntlet come with the Wracks or did you convert your Acothyst one? I've never seen a picture of one from the kit before, and if it is converted I am very interested in how you did it.

Your paint job makes me more and more certain than the Heavy Metal team dropped the ball on the Wracks. Your's just pops a lot better.

..."Nice Wrack"... I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE!

On a more serious note... Jesus, those are some finely-painted, genuinely scary models. I love the pallid flesh you've given them - a sort of cold, dead blue. I've not managed to get a proper look at them before, but if yours are any indicator of how they should look, then the lesser races should be very, very afraid...

Look at their spines! *shudder*

Like Raucir, I haven't seen any pics of these new models yet other than GW's standard promos. I have to agree, these are way better than I thought, and I already thought they were pretty good. The spines are awesome!

And so is your paint job, as usual. Terrific work, thanks for sharing them.

Nice job, though.

How did you get magnets to fit into the arms? Eldar arms are so tiny.

Magnets are 2mm in diameter and 1mm thick. Drilled into torso 2-3mm and stuck in magnet, then loped off the rounded section of the arm (the bit designed to fit in the recess) and stuck another magnet directly to it, when put in posistion it fits flush and hides both magnets.
