Well, I've worked up my first 1500 list. Here goes:

Archon rides with Incubi in the Venom, Haemonculus rides with the Grotesques in the Raider.

EDIT: Just as a note, my lists are primarily for fun and fluff. I'm not an overly competitive player and have little interest in tournaments. Plus, at the moment, where I currently live there are no people nearby that play.

Okay, dropped the Acothyst and his Venom Blade, freed up enough for the Venom's Night Shields.

I'm rather surprised at the size of this force for 1500. Pretty handy assault force with some midrange firing. If you can cut 10 points somewhere and give that Venom a nightshield, you'd have an all NS force. I assume nearly all of the Raiders have DLs

One thing that does strike me out is the single venom, with the incubi, which will be a fire magnet.

Yeah, the single venom seems to be the odd man out. also, the lack of Night Shields on it is a mistake on my part. I got it turned around and thought they came with it automatically...That's actually the flickerfield they get for free...Woops! *laughs*

You are correct. The Raiders all have Dark Lances. Hmm...I could perhaps drop the Venom Blade from the Haemonculus and Acothyst. That'd free up enough for the Venom's Night Shield.

here's my list- no night shields bar 1, 11 vehicles, no raiders, all venoms- venomspam (no coven units)

Reldn- just drop the acothyst and his venom blade.
