1500 list idea

It's an expanded version of my 1k list, but with grotestques. Posts on this site gave me the idea of having a majority t5 archon charging in the front lines, with the wych's as support. I also added the fighter.

Here's what I came up with

HQ


Archon /w huskblade, combat drugs, phastasmal grenade launcher, shadowfield, soul trap= 180 pts

Elites

4 grotesques /w aberation /w flesh gauntlet= 170 pts

raider 60 points (archon goes with them).




Troops


3x 10 warriors with blaster and splinter cannon= 115 pts each
/w x3 raiders = 60 points each

8 wych's  /w  hekatrix /w agonizer, phastasmal grenade launcher= 120 pts

Raider= 60 pts







Heavy support


x2 Ravagers /w dark lances, night shields= 115 pts each

Razorwing Jetfighter /w splinter cannon= 155 points

No raiders? No venoms? It really lacks the means to do anything without transports.

I have 5 raiders in the list, I clumped them with troops but they are there, I'll fix that.

Your Archon should be 170~

Since you now have 10 points to use, why not get your Razorwing a nifty 5+ invul? No need for dodge then.

Or would it be better to have ghostplate armor on the archon?

Your Archon is very expensive, you should drop the PGL, grotesques are only I4 so striking at initiative not important for them. Besides they are tough enough to stick around to strike back. As for the ghost plate armour I wouldn't bother as normally when your shadow field fails you Archon is toast from instant death anyway.

Alright I'll drop it, anything else wrong with the list?
