Mass shooting 1750pt for Tournament

Hi all I'm very new to the forum, and I never posted before. I'm Vixen from Italy, my is a bit f**** up, so my apologize for all the mistake!
I've been reading the discussion on this forum since long time, but i never posted before because I'm not feeling confident about my english writing.

Ok, I want to post my last list for the next tournament season, that will start for me next september. Here my list

Aegis defense line with Icarus Cannon

STRATEGY
deploy the Aegis closest as possible to my opponents. Archon control the Icarus Cannon, so that I can use it also to destroy opponents tanks or transport. If the games require deploy my 3 ELITES behind the aegis.

In my opinion it should work really well, Im not too sure about the Aegis. The alternative is to spare the aegis points and upgrade one of my ravages to a Voidraven with a couple of missile, but honestly I do not like the fact that will enter the table from the 2°turn on a 3+, I believe is better to have just 3 more DL shoots on turn 1.

FELINGS
I do not like shooting list, in fact in 5th edition i use to play a full Wyches list I loved that. But now in 6th edition when my riders blow up is always a massacre, so I have to adapt to the new metagame.

Did you guys ever play something like this? What where you main concern? Do you think I can deal with Tau Armis or Eldar??

Why do you have an Archon (naked), Lhamaen, and Medusae? I feel like that is free Slay the Warlord. Also, I thought that you have to have 1+ of each of the court. Is that still right?

Welcome to TDC. First your English is pretty good but using profanity will get you in trouble on this site.

On your list it looks strong if a bit spammy. I'm not sold on the aegis because its so easy to kill the gun but if you've had good experiences keep it.

The archons court is not legal since it requires a minimum of 1 of each. I would lose these for something else like wargear for the archon.

Yes I believe this army has the tools to handle both tau and eldar especially with full compliment of night shields. We already out range both armies and NS exacerbates the issue. Biggest issues with tau are multiple riptides, missilesides and Mech plus sheer volume of fire but we handle each very well. Eldar similar.

I'ld skip court, useless and does not help your shooting. If you want a shooty archon, give him a blaster. If you want him to be able to adapt to his situation (maybe he gets charged), give him venomblade and shadowfield for survivability. You can finance those points when you've dropped the court.

I might be wrong now and can't check it up, but won't Lanceborn in venoms only be able to fire snapshots if moved alot? I'ld have them stand from safe distance and shoot instead or give them blasters.

Thanks a lot for all the suggestion. I will skip the Archon court and give him some wargear for sure. For the beginning I'll keep the Aegis and see how it works.

Is true that Lanceborn in venoms only be able to fire snapshots, My plan is to keep the behind Aegis defense line. Will see how it works.

Darklight I love your list, Looks really strong to me! Usually I do not use Truborn with blaster in a Venom because I fill like they blow up a transport and they die after.

11 Lances , 18 SC ( same lances , 2 more SC and +2 strong assault and +2 weak assault )

Anti air - move under his air units so he cant shoot and kill the rest of his army ..

Its more a mixed list plenty of shooting power at 36" , can move and weaken him but some assault after they are shot to pieces. Agree with you on the blasters , instead of using blaster TB which are suicide units i use wyches and the TB stay at 36" prefferably using normal moves to get the 24 shots.
