1500pt Kabalite List

So I've just got back into the game really this summer after being away from it for about 2 years and have been building up my Dark Eldar (I used to play Space Wolves with a little DE on the side).
I have been working on a new list and want to see what people's thoughts are.

The Baron goes with the beasts, of course, jumping from cover to cover until they can assault.
The rest fly around doing their normal Dark Eldar wickedness.

The army works out to excatly 1500 points (which just seemed like fate )

Any advice on what works, what to change, or what to consider adding when moving up to higher point games, would all be greatly appreciated.

I'd really appreciate any comments guys. I'll be testing this army on the weekend at my local GW (this last weekend was the opening of the new store so cuold only play the first to the fight 500 point games) so any advice before then would be great.

It looks pretty good to me. I however like more troops.

A personal preference i would like myself would be to dump splinter racks and free up some points,
And change out 2 razorwings for more khymeraes.

I guess that you could have something like 10 khymerae and 4 razorwings and end up at 1500pts then.
I don't have the book in front of me though, so correct me if i'm wrong.

That would be my preference at least. Otherwise, it's only the troops that i like to have more of.
Putting troops aside, you do have some saturation goinh on there, so i guess the troops might not be the first to go.

Something i like adding to these types of lists at higher points is another troop choice and reavers.

Perhaps at 1750 i think i'd add 2x unitd of 5 haywire wyches in venoms for exactly 250 pts more.

Thanks for the input. I've never used beast packs before so am not to sure on the best loadouts (I'll probably experiment with your suggestion).

I don't know how I feel about dropping the splinter racks. I know it is good to try and keep the vehicles cheap, but the re-rolls have been invaluable in the past (especially when facing FMCs).

I like the idea of the wyches. They seem like they would fit well into the army (now all I have to do is save up the money for two more venoms).

Do you own all these models? A lot of people agree that 5 Khymerae and 2-6 Razorwings is the way to go, but I wound up going converting my Khymerae from Dire Wolves (well...mostly converted) and they come in boxes of 10 and I don't like the Razorwing models. I know I'm not the first to find this pack is quite good and it might be worth trying if you want to save some money.

2 Beastmasters + 10 Khymerae = 144 pts (saves you 42 pts and like $100).

I think you can probably scrape by with these three troops at 1500pts because they're Raider squads and are a little more resilient than small Venom squads. I would deploy them on foot and in cover and dropping the splinter racks otherwise the enemy will blow up your Raider and take half your squad with it. Your point about FMCs is true though, so it's up to you.

I find that chaos warhounds from fantasy make for good khymerae subs.
I like to use vargheists as razorwing flocks from vampire counts.

Deploying outside is a good way to keep safe.

Thanks for the advice guys. So far in my games I have found if I deploy outside my transport that my kabalites fare worse then when their transport explodes, but that could just be my luck so far. I'll probably play around with both and get a feel for them.

In terms of models I should be fine proxying for now (the people I play with are generally fine as long as the proxy is semi similar). I have a bunch of Wargs lieing around from my LOTR days, and am planning on getting some fenrisian wolves for my Space Wolf army. For the razorwings I'm using canoptek scarabs (for now at least). I like the idea that a beast master or someone captured a bunch of scarabs and reprogramed them.
