Best Song For Dark Eldar

So I was listening to my music today and I wondered, what would be the best song for the Dark Eldar race? In my opinion it would be Three Days Grace - Pain.
What do you think?

i like - RZA - Fatal from Blade trinity as well as the theme music from WWE charatcer Gangrel... just nice and creeepy with lots of blood and pain references

I've got myself a Dark Eldar soundtrack to play during the game. Some good ones are Shriekback's "Nemesis" (which I have a bit of quoted in my sign. I swear that song was writtin for Dark Eldar in mind) and Krypteria's "When the Dust Begins to Settle" Billy Idol's "New Future Weapon" is the song to play whenever you're using the Razorwing/Voidraven.

Guess I'm the only one that would admire some good old Ludwig during ultraviolent in-outing enemies

Of course, even though it's written for the Craftworlders, Khaine's Wrath is still a damn fitting song.

And of course, for some songs for the Haemonculi (or those surgery/drug-loving Commorrites out there), you can't go past Repo! The Genetic Opera, in particular 21st Century Cure, Zydrate Anatomy, Night Surgeon, and Thankless Job. A word of warning, the videos from Repo! can be a little gory, such as Night Surgeon and Thankless Job. Still, the songs are pretty much great for the Commorrite love of surgery and drugs, and the problems of when a nasty little Commorrite 'forgets' to make his payments for the work the Haemonculi did...

Really though, I try to distance myself from the usual "40k? The only music appropriate is Slipknot, Tool and other heavy thrash/scream/death metal bands!" The Dark Eldar may be "evil", but they're also elegant and sophisticated.

I almost gagged at Three Days Grace and Dark Eldar being mentioned in the same sentence. I understand not everyone appreciates all that is METAL... Note, that's appreciate, not understand.

Damn straight! Zydrate Anatomy always makes me think of Coven work.

Also, Pavi Largo just wears people's faces. And he's a wimp. However, if you were to combine Pavi (face fetish), Luigi (ultraviolence), Rotti (machiavellian schemer extraordinaire), Amber Sweet (surgery addiction) and infuse it with the utter, utter selfishness of the Largo line, then you'd be onto something approaching a true Commorrite!

I have difficulty finding any songs that really fit the Dark Eldar. A lot of metal is too shouty or screamy, classical music just doesn't have enough edge - the only things that might work are genuinely tracks from the Dawn of War series. And Lord of The Rings, of course. Minas Morgul always works for bad guys, it doesn't seem to matter which race they belong to.

I really love the Dawn of War music for the Dark Eldar. I fell in love with Tahril's voice as well, it was so evilicious!!!
I just wish they didn't make their faces look like old men though...XP

Razors edge - ACDC?

For some reaosn I've never felt metal fits Dark Eldar (it fits Chaos very well tho). I like my Dark Eldar music to be more lighter and lyrical, as opposed to heavy metal.

I tend to agree - it needs to be creepy AND harmonic!

Anything with an orchestra with the right tone and pitch can work very well

I have a couple things I put on when playing in the gameroom with DE...

1) Manson.... not a big fan but it just seems to fit the weirdness....
2) Lamb of god.... Usualy when im flying around the table shooting....
3) Strapping young Lad.... Some of the heaviest, mechanical music on the planet....
City is an one of the best metal albums EVER.

Well, muscles big as normal man torso, mohawk and bling-bling combined with skimpy shorts are truly scary.

Forgot to add this and this, for those of you who wanted some more dark non-metal music. The second is a reprise/variation of the first, and is much "emptier" and creepier, in some ways, perfect in my mind for the Mandrakes and their shadow-dimension!

I also like the Dubstep- Menace by Distance... seems to fit IMHO.

Note to self : Do not look at Warhammer stuff and listen to Disney music at the same time, it gives weird ideas. Particularily a weird one where some random human girl sings 'Colors of the Wind' to all the races...somehow...Don't ask, my mind is a weird place. XD

I've found that many Disney villain songs fit the Dark Eldar quite nicely. Maybe it's juast because I've always felt the Dark Eldar are the cartoon villains of 40k (I mean that in a good way, by the way, not the "derp we're evulz" kinda way"). The villain song from Lion King is especially good, I could totally see an Archon singing that (partly because I could totally imagine that voice actor voicing Dark Eldar).
