Best Song For Dark Eldar

Yeah, that was at the top of the list when I tried thinking of which Iron Maiden songs were most suitable.

Hmm, I thin that The Alchemist by Irons Maiden could be good for haemonculi, ignoring the part about demons.
Prowler from the Iron Maiden album is another good one, and also Chains of Misery from the Fear of the Dark album, or even Fear of the Dark.

Oh heck yeah! How I missed this post, I don't know, but I completely agree with you. Listening to the Warp Riders album is the other thing that really pushed me to get into Dark Eldar (first being Judas Priest).

The Chronomancer II: Hubris is another one from The Sword that really gets my imagination going, but truth be told, the entire Warp Riders album is like that.

Fear of the Dark is pretty much the Mandrake theme song.

So yeh, so many good choices there! Maiden, Megadeth, Judas Priest, Nightwish, Metallica, Alestorm!

My army is based upon the band Nevermore, the album, 'Enemies of Reality'.

The line 'there is no stronger drug than reality' suits methinks.

I also have mini Judas Priest symbols painted on my wyches right shoulders, along with alice cooper make up around the eyes.

So yeh, I have a metal based dark eldar army. Also with a wee bit of the band, Marillion, for the harlequinesque imagery.

Music and Warhammer is such a good combo.

Darkpsy is the way to go imho :p, the fast, relentless and ongoing onslaught of pyschedelic sounds and rythyms suits them very well i think Enjoy

I'd also put Bane's theme from the Dark Knight Rises. For some reason, that chanting just reminds me of the Dark Eldar preparing for war...

Sorry for the necromancy but I just stumbled across this thread and I think its great so I wanted to contribute. The music I have in mind is not for the dark kin per say. Its more an aftermath hymn to a DE raid. I've posted this a few years ago on 40konline so if you've read it before bear with me.

Imagine this:

An imperial guard platoon has answered a distress call from a planet and make landfall. What they find are what remains after a dark eldar raid.
Imagine the columns of soldiers slowly and quietly walking through the destruction of a once fair city and trying to cope.
Imagine what they see and what they feel.
Smoking ruins everywhere. Disembowelled corpses hanging from buildings like grotesque decorations. Corpses with faces twisted in agony and pain lying everywhere. A mother with her tongue and eyes removed sopping with her child, now a glass statue, in her hands.
Heads nailed on spikes, and vehicles burning with charred corpses still inside. Skinned bodies of the local arbiters nailed op on the burning remains of Officia Administratum buildings.
People impaled on the statues of living saints and the Emperor.
But no sign of any intruder or enemy. Neither living nor dead.

There is something about this one that makes me think of the dark eldar.. it's creepy, but also melodic.
