I mostly think of symphonic metal for the Dark Eldar, it combines grace and aggression. Nightwish, Within Temptation, Epica, Leaves' Eyes

A few particular songs that are in my DE playlist (unable to post links yet):
Marilyn Manson: Get Your Gunn, The Beautiful People
Front Line Assembly: Liquid Seperation (sic) - well, any song that samples Hellraiser quotes gets DE points
Breaking Benjamin :Dear Agony, Sooner or Later ("your scream is burning through my veins")
Tool: Schism - for those rare moments of introspection
Artifical Joy Club: Sick & Beautiful
HIM: Razorblade Kiss, (Rip Out The) Wings of a Butterfly
Lacuna Coil: Swamped

Deathstars - Blitzkrieg IMO THE song for DE in battle. I' m eclectic in music and though dark atmospheric fits DE better than metal or Industrial, when playing a game I need kill-it-all-with-fire music and not creepy theme music. I reserve that for off the battlefield.

Cradle of Filth is nice too, some of their old songs at least(hated their last four albums personally). Midian and Damnation and a day albums are best suited to DE. Same with Dimmu, the album Spiritual Black Dimensions fits best. Industrial...eh it depends on the lyrics(if there are any). It's my fav genre but for some reason it does not click with DE in my mind.
I am very focused on lyrics and having a sweeping battle beat.

I second that. Metal (and any of its variations) I associated with brute force - the opposite of the art of war of the DE. On the other side dark themed electronic music seems more of a fit. No further need to comment on rock songs - seriously?

I have to admit, this is one of my favorite threads and I agree with Kharra Man-Bane completely.

Recently I have came up with these.

This shows the menacing nature of the Dark Eldar and how feared they should rightfuly be from a human's perspective.

Even though I loved the original version of this song, and many of you don't believe Industrial to be very DEldarish, I just like this band.

I'm not the biggest fan of Dubstep, this is about as close as I can get, but I feel that it still does a good job.

Nice to see bands like Lacuna Coil and Nightwish get a mention. Personally, though, I side with those who say ebm/industrial better fits Dark Eldar. Metal just doesn't seem to fit.

both are songs of "Agate Kristi". Don't be confused by name, it's russian music band. They have noting to do w/ Warhammer, but this fact don't make 'em less awesome. (Most of russian music bands are literally bad, thx Muses there are few exceptions)

Not the most complex and unusual song. It's about drugs and addition, if one can guess. (Spider is mark of addiction among criminals) But also about wicked, strange, furious love. Perfectly fits DE.

I come back to this thread months later and rejoice that it's still active! Anyway, new contribution - Dance of Death by Iron Maiden. Can quite clearly visualise wyches swirling round a combat, lost in pleasure and lopping limbs off every time I hear it!
