2,000 points of Doom

I have a tournament tomorrow, it's smallish like 6 - 8 players small. So here's the list just want your thoughts and opinions.

HQ:

How'd you do?

Looks a little light in the troop department, IMO.
Also, did not know you could mix and match DL & Dissie on Ravagers. Cool.
Archon shadow field/ghostplate overlap, and I can see why you'd take 'em but the points I'm sure have other uses as well.

How did deep-striking the venoms go?!
And the NS on Raiders, even though their cargo has only 18-24" range?

First - take off Ghostplate from Archon as Laughingcarp said.
Lady is a doubtful choice. She is npt competitive, its better to replace her with a Haemunculus.
HWG on Blasterborns is also an overlap.
1 Dissie on a ravager makes it useless both against Vehicles and infantry, because you lose numbers of shots. It's better to make it full lance and take 1 Dissie Raider.

Power maul is a strange choice for bikes. Are you going to assault Vehicles? I actually think the bikes are great, but they play another role in combat. (turbo boost in the enemy deplyment zone, pop vehicles from far away, bladevane infantry, deny objectives). The only reason for takin a Champion with a special weapon is to get a small protection against enemy assaults (or to allals a weak enemy unit). A Venom Blade is much better here (with an agonizer they will be scary too but it's expensive).

In general your list is lacking on AI fire (long range poison shots from Venoms). Usually it is better to hold your Venoms as far as it possible, but here you can't do that because you need to transport Blasterborns with their 18" range. If you replace Raiders with Venoms you will lack on lng range AV guns. SO I don't know what to suggest you.

One more thing. I used to take blasters on my warriors, but now I don't do that anymore. Usually they can't do anything useful, they only great at holding objectives. I spare lots of points dropping a blaster from each squad, but if you like you can take them.

I don't have a full battle report, but you guys were right too few troops hurt me a lot. I am absolutely in love with the Blasterborn in the venom & deep striking them where and when you need them is even better. I took the maul for the +2 str., but as seeing that it either performed the same (if not worse) then the venom blade I'll probably go back to the old reliable v-blade. I'll give the ravager recomondation a try next time. Oh and of course Lady was a flop too, i knew GK's/IG & C:SM/Necron were going to present but neither brought psykers lol. The next tourney is 2500 pts but I'll post that list seperatly.
